I've been working in Lilongwe for a few months now, and I'd have to say that the opportunities here are fantastic.

Before I came, I hopped on Badoo and Facebook and attempted a bit of conversing with the locals. The things I found were great. Basically, the girls here are pretty friendly.

Online: Those who manage to get online access are usually middle class ladies who have enough income to get internet (not an easy thing here in Malawi!) or get it through their job, and look to meet people. So going online is a fantastic way to make connections. I did it before I came and practically every girl I took an interest in responded quite well and offered to guide me around. The first girl I met was a pretty, quiet nurse / midwife. Whenever we meet, she's very friendly. She enjoys getting gifts and I've grown in her the expectation that whenever we hang out I'll give her a few thousand kwatcha (usually about $20) for sim card, or whatever (little gifts like buying her a 5L bottle of cooking oil). In return, every time we meet she stays over (or I stay at her house) and we rub each other crazy all night. I'll post a few pictures of her, but I must admit she's not a stunner she is the most willing and friendly girl I've met, who has awesome boobs and a nice juicy butt. A great intro to Africa and a LT companion. Perhaps most importantly, she's not clingy; she rarely texts me, and she understands I'm very busy (aka, I'll go a week without texting her without complaint).

The main areas to monger in Lilongwe are in an area called Bwandilo, where the nightclub Chez Ntambo is located along with a dozen or so bars in less than a block. There are BBQ stalls outside bars and it's a very relaxed local vibe, with dozens of hot girls strutting their stuff and pulling in locals. Locals speak English well, and the prices are around $20-30 depending on the rate of exchange to the kwatcha.

Overall, Malawi is not the greatest economy at the moment, having just gone through a harsh period of rapid inflation and fuel scares. It's recovered quite a bit but that might bust out when the harvest season is over and the elections come up. Right now there are some elections coming up in a neighboring country which may cause Malawi to become more prosperous (as that country is more likely to have violence and some kind of revolution). This could be good or bad for Malawi, depending on your attitude. In general, it's pretty safe. Though never walk out at night. Taxis are around, but they're pretty expensive (around $5-10 bucks depending on your bargaining ability and your willingness to walk away, cheaper if you find a local taxi who charges less but still ridiculous due to the insane gas prices at about $8.50 a gallon.

Will pump more information as I get used to the country, along with some pics of local girls. Have to admit I'm enjoying my stay. Probably because I lived in China for two years and found the girls there to be so ridiculously greedy, money-focused, inhibited, controlling, and unable to have fun.

that being said, i would be interested in knowing how that businessman met such an encounter as i never felt threatened while visiting malawi back in 2011.

    Malawi Malibu

On a trip through southern Africa me and some mates camped in Malawi for a few nights next to the Lake.

The second day a local family of some means and mixed blood moved in right next to us. Although the campsite is quite large, African people do not share the same need for personal space, and basically camped on our doorstep! We grunted somewhat between ourselves, but we were not going to offend them by moving away. This strategy became evidently fortunate the next day when their niece joint them from Blantyre. A toffee skinned bottle blond package with an exquisite ass and full lips next to whom Angelina will look like a skull and bones!

She was aptly named Precious and professed to be studying law! A comely young lass, with a magnificent ass! I could tell by the way she looked at me, that there was some quilt in her glance, a perfect reflection of a sensation I had lower down.

I thought everyone could see my oozing with lust.

One night around two in the morning, I went out of the tent to take a leak, and there I saw the Bush babies around the camp fire, calling on me to join them. Without their parents around, they were quite a bit more forthcoming, and soon the lawyer suggested we go sit and stare at the moon on the water's edge.

She basically made herself comfortable on my lap, claiming to be cold in December on the equator, but try as I should have, I could not think of a single reason to be offended! I'm more of a romantic than a "Monger" by heart, so I truly enjoyed every moment of this closeness and the idea that my mates are recycling their own breathing inside a stuffy tent while I am massaging the nubile breasts of a Bush baby scarcely 19 years old (she claimed) with dreamy eyes and uneven breathing, totally incapable of sitting still. I was getting a free lap dance while I started taking her clothes off.

I sourced a condom and some dried towels off the clothes line and improvised a bed on the sandy beach of Lake Malawi, three O'clock in the morning while I took my time to caress every bulge, nook and cranny of this splendid specimen of African fantasy. Her improbable 19 years of age caused some reluctance on my part to plant my spear in foreign soil, but sensing my uncertainty, she took the initiative and mounted me with commendable enthusiasm!

In days to come, she would signal her mating call by engaging me in casual conversation in the presence of everyone, sitting cross legged in a summer dresses and just occasionally flashing the clean shaven port where I dropped my anchor un-obscured by such inconveniences as panties or even her bikini.

Our engagements remained secretive, as neither her parents nor my friends would have approved of such promiscuities. This tended to increase the sexual tension even more when we tasted the forbidden fruit.

Sadly, a few days later we had to go back South, and although we kept in touch via texting her aspirations to come to South Africa dwindled over time and I never saw her again.

    Working Facebook in your favour

    Hey all,

I do not post very often, but I have spent the past two years in Blantyre (with a four month gap from Oct 12 to Feb 13). I am now back in Blantyre for 3 weeks closing up my financial and personal affairs before I move on to another country.

Most of what Bogknib reports is very very accurate so I will not go into detail about things he has already covered. Badoo is the latest thing in Malawi for meeting people (just like afroconnections was at one point) , but there are very few ladies on there who are looking for a good time (and most of them are older and larger). It takes a lot of work to score on Badoo.

For those that like massage with fun and in a safer environment than the street you can go to China the Restaurant and Lodge at Ginnery Corner with Chinese women. Door fee 2500K for 30 minutes of good massage tip is 5, 000k plus for extras. The more you frequent them and the more you tip the more milage you will get. They are pretty open minded.

Last comment (and perhaps a little bragging) is about the facebook technique first mentioned by Bogknib. Most young urban Malawians are on fb and many have no clue about privacy or security. I began searching for young women who attend the polytechnic here in town and who are attractive (from their photos) and who choose single, it's complicated or nothing as their status. I then sent a message to about 10 young women asking them if they were interested in meeting an older generous white guy for some fun. Out of the ten one replied and within four hours I met her. I set it up like a date and took her to the cinema and then back to a lodge for the night. She is 20yo about 170cm and about 60kg. Very attractive. It turns out she was a virgin to boot. At my age I thought I would never have another virgin. Anyway I will continue to see her until my time is done here in Malawi.

    10 days. .

After my wonderful days in Zambia (see my report I that forum) I took the bus from Lusaka to Lilongwe. A long, somewhat smelly ride which allowed me to make some new friends.

Checked into the Korean Garden hotel. Very nice and affordable. A lady who I had met months earlier on Badoo joined me there the next morning for breakfast and then she spent the rest of the day with me as my guide, showing me Lilongwe. Markets government quarters. Tobacco auctions. Restaurants. Clubs. We got along very well, but nothing 'personal. ' Similar activities on day two. Introdution to many friends and family. Again. Nothing personal, even though it was clear that we got along. And would get along. Very well.

Then Blantyre. Again being met by a lady I had met on Badoo. Tall, slim, but not too well endowed. We passed a pleasant evening going out and then 'going in. ' Next day she came down with a bad fever. Tuning out to be malaria, which put an end to our relationship.

Then a tour of southern Malawi, sightseeing, hiking, etc. From time to time I would exchange texts with my Lilongwe lady, and when I told her that next day I would be in Mangochi she texted back that she would be waiting there for me. No further explanations of this change of mind.

For the next 10 days we traveled together, mostly having a great time at various lodges along Lake Malawi. She too was tall, slim, but not as busty as my Zambia sweetheart, nor did she have the same tight rear-end. But otherwise. What delight! There was not much I could teach this lady, on the contrary!

    Sweet!

    Oh memories!

The official exchange rate is 165 MWK to 1 USD. The black market rate is 250/290 MWK to sell / buy 1 USD. If you are pulling money from an ATM you get the official rate. If you bring USD you can get the black market rate. At the official rate, the place is poor value by African standards.

Probably because the official exchange rate is so poor, there are no USD in the country and none of the Malawi gas distributors can buy gasoline. Often, the only gasoline to be had is to be gotten on the black market at inflated rates. This means getting around by taxi is expensive. 500 MWK for even the shortest trip.

Starting at around 10:00 pm the police will pick you up if you are walking on the streets, at least in and around the CDB. This might mean a ride in the back of one of their pickup trucks while they work to extract the largest bribe they think you can afford to pay. So if you don't want to deal with the police, you have to use a taxi and pay the high rates.

There are quite a few budget lodges in and around the central business district, charging 3, 000 to 5, 000 MWK per night. Some also serve as short time hotels.

Chez Ntemba is located at Hanover and Henderson Streets in the CBD. The doors to the nightclub open at 8:00 pm and it stays open pretty much to dawn. They collect a 300 MWK cover charge on Saturday nights only. Local beers go for 250 MWK. There are a mix a pros and non-pros in the place. The girls are often quite young. ST can be had for 1, 500 MWK but you have to transport the girl to a lodge and back. LT can be had for 2, 500 MWK. There are also girls plying the trade in front of the club on Hanover Street.

Blue Elephant is located on the Kidney Crescent. By 10:30 or so the place is getting crowded at least on Friday and Saturday nights. This place draws a more affluent crowd, much better dressed and healthier looking than in Chez Ntemba. Local beers go for 300 MWK. There are a mix of pros and non-pros but, in general, any pro activity is conducted discreetly. There are sometimes obvious pros in the street.

Stereo Bar is full of pros. It is part of a complex with a couple of other bars / clubs, one called Safari Bar. LT can be had for 2, 000 MWK. Some girls who frequent Chez Ntemba also frequent this place.

There are sometimes girls plying the trade on Chilembwe Steet, just past Steers and Debonairs near Laws Road.

    Malawi

I agree with you. Malawi is no paradise. If you lived here, you would have the time to sift through the girls and find some nice ones to keep you company, but in my opinion, there are many African countries that are far better for the tourist than Malawi.

    Mr Ice Coke

Welcome and nice informative balanced review.

Its seems everything is cheap at the black market rate. I have visit Malawi capital 6 years ago (Only passing shortly)

And I can remember that girls was very black, slim and eager. On the downside: (As far as I saw in my short time)

    1. Girls not so attractive.

    2. I also remember that some of the hotel was not girl friendly at the place I stayed.

    3. Its a rural place, the hotel is the centre of activities nothing to do else ware.

    4. There is a high prevalence of HIV / AIDS as I have heard.

Paradise exist only in our next life, (for some of us) , so it is always good to point out cons and pros
