I've been in Madagascar now for a year and extended my visa att the chief of police every three months. The stamp looks legit and all but now I wonder if I will have a problem when leaving the country? What do you think will happen? Paying a huge fine when leaving and being barred to enter the country again? I hope not since I love it here.

Well. You're basically illegally here already for 9 month. The local police gives you a stamp. There's no visa extension. The police the'air et frontière is enforcing the immigration policy. Let's put it this way. If you got the illegal useless stamps in Nosy Be. Do NOT fly from Tana. Fly out from Nosy Be. Play dumb. And pray. Have some ariary ready when you exit the country. If you find a corrupt border official. 100 k should do the trick. Other than that. Every year they're rounding up a couple of illegal french immigrants. Technically it's jail time you're looking at. And deportation.

Fortunately this island has multiple layers of protection against foreign intruders. Namely. The expensive flights. The atrocious road infrastructure. Try ride 30 hours in a Taxi brousse. Or worse. Camion Brousse. The whole host of tropical diseases namely Malaria Typhoid Cholera the famous Malagasy shits. Plus all known VDs. The Language Barrier. Only 29% actually speaks proper french. The rest Malagasy. The climate including several vicious tropical cyclones. Plus the Visa regime. After 90 days it's good bye from paradise. No legal extension. I m personally not convinced that the island will be overrun by gulf arabs. Nosy Be might be a different matter. They try since years to bring holiday charters. That most likely will not work. The infrastructure is just too bad. There's no need for me to put people off. I just described the harsh reality. Let all the smart guys come and find out for themselves. The word suffering will take on a new meaning. LOL.

I had written a couple messages a week or so ago that seem to have disappeared, not sure if I said something wrong but I think Southeaster made reference to one. The main point was what I was seeing in Nosy Be this year. I have been using Facebook quite a bit to find girls, have found a few good ones, have been ghosted my many more, and had a couple ask up front very seriously for AR 200 k. Even had a girl I have seen several times since late 2023 for 60 k, quite happy for that, refuse to come over telling me "many tourists here now, a lot of money". She was a wild one, everything available, making videos with her and a friend, and asking me to send them to her. Then one day one of her threesome freinds told her that we were together alone and she got insulted. I doubted that was the reason, I think she realized she could get more money and was too busy. Also there are a lot of very expensive homes being built, and a extremely wealthy class coming in. So it is changing. I think Toliara might be better off, but I have not been there for a while.

All you say is true, for now. Road transport is worse than it was before covid. Infrastructure still sucks. Flights are stupidly expensive. But, we have seen posts in the last month or 2 showing a change in Nosy Be from both one week millionaires like Mr. Gigolo and more price conscious individuals who have seen first hand the prime chicks starting to ask for 200 k, and getting it. Yes of course there are many who don't and won't pay these stupid amounts (I am one of them!) but if it continues in this fashion it doesn't bode well. And if Nosy be becomes fucked over it is a foot in the door for the rest of the country. 2 week millionaires are just that. They WILL spend stupid money and they will pay exorbitant airfares. Maybe Mada has many more years before it goes the way of other well known mongering destinations. Maybe not. As I said, I hope I am wrong.

I must say that I have a hard time beliving Madgaskar will turn in to some sort of overpriced Thailand any time soon. The people that have driven up prices in Thailand are mostly chinese, japanese and koreans. They are not going to travel to Madagaskar for girls. The talk about arabs coming in is something I doubt. Arabs don't like black girls. They prefer either thier own women or white women.

Big spenders only start to have an impact when there are enough of them. There was always those types of guys in Pattaya but it didn't mean much untill enough of the arrived. When I last looked at a video from nosy bee there was a lot of women, no way prices are just going to sky rocket.

Does anyone have any updates on flights to Mada? Because right now this is the biggest problem, getting there for reasonable money.

It is sad but inevitable. As the big spenders grow in number board members will be more and more reluctant to share experiences, prices and locations. Soon people will not post good info and it will lead to only PMs between people who trust each other enough not to blab about it. I think the writing is on the wall. Having seen the good and great times in the PI, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia and also seen them all turn to shit over the years, I am afraid the writing is on the wall. Mada too will suffer this fate. It may take 3, 5 or 10 years but it will go downhill. I hope I am wrong but fear I am not. More charter flights from Poland and Israel attract the rowdy drinkers making the 100 m of road on front of TaxiBe to a hard players meeting place.

The local families are already preventing their daughters to go near that Gomorrah but sqeeze more money from the visitors in the blurr to have money sending their Kids on good schools, not attraced to fuck vahaza.
