Thanks for the info. I can cope with heat. But not rain. So you decided me to go soon.

What about Tulear and west coast mid February. Mid March?

Is it not supposed to be sunny, or at least less rainy?
I also plan to go there soon.

You mean from January to February. That's cyclone season at its best. What does it mean. A cyclone can wreck your travel plans in no time. If you have deep pockets fly direct to Nosy Be and hole up there. Or fly to Tana and stay put. Tana IMHO is the best place to spend Cyclone season. Up to you. Of course you can travel. But. Roads and bridges are swept away. The roads are in a sorry state already. Not the best time to visit Mada.

I know Philippines well and the Philippines is fine.

But if you're tossing up between the Philippines and Mada based on weather reports then you're asking the wrong question. I have already been to three African countries, read the Mada forum cover to cover and I'm still wondering if I'm ready for Mada. Suggest you RTFF thoroughly before even considering it.

Once I went home with a girl from Tana. She was living just below the Rova in a family flat she had simpel room for her own and claimed to have a job. Great experience.
Mada people don't really like to bring you home (as compared to other places like Kenya). I went to a few girl's home, and I definitely recommend it (including one with no water, where she had to go and get water in bottles 15 minutes walk away! This is the best way to understand how real life is in Mada.

What a heartbreaking story, I did not believe it completely. Anyway treated her s nice as she did me. Remember, she brought her girlfriend for a shave and a fuck along, 20 K.

However, I like to take here my forum space for a monologue in remembrance to a once again great time.

As flights a very cheap in March. I will do a week just Tana.
Me a girl that went to Lebanon for 2 years, boss wanted to fuck her everyday when the wife went to the market. She called the police (who of course did nothing), tried to escape, but could not (as her contract was 2 year, and she did not have her passport) and had to endure it for 2 years. Real slavery!
