Survived two months of hell with no dinero. House is pretty much done. Fans up, air conditioning working and things are finally cooling off. I'm visiting San Juan, PR first time. Coming via Carnival Cruises. I arrive on Wed. July 28th. Based on what I read so far, San Juan appears to be:

a dive and not much mongering activity
a place for topless dances only
a spot I should not waste my limited 7 hours

Does that sound about right? Besides, I'm there from 9am-6pm. Not much of a night life. Am I wrong? I hope so.

In any event, I always advise folks to take a more conservative position in such cases, as the risk of loss of liberty increases as one strays from what the Supremes assert.
