I wholeheartedly agree with WR that Cebu needs a seperate thread for Hotels. The Cebu thread is not that far behind Manila and Angeles City in terms of quantity of posts and the Cebu thread often contains a lot of discussion about hotels. Cebu seems to be an increasingly favourite destination for P4P and a Cebu Hotel thread would I think be really useful.
By the way, I cannot thank you enough for providing and running this site, it is absolutely brilliant

Would you consider to leave a full backup of your archives to 2-3 friends you really trust, who might restore the site, even after months of interruption, in case of major disaster?

Currently, members are divided in Regular Members and Senior Members (further divided in Moderated and Unmoderated).
It is very easy to become SM: only 6 months and/or more than 25 posts (whatever post!).

I propose to introduce an upper tier, something like "Fellow Members" or anything, for members who truly have contributed to the Forum, providing significant and useful information for a sustained period of time.
I leave Jackson to determine the exact criterion, an automatic one like "more than X Rep. of Distinction", or by decision of Jackson, or a combination.

What would be great is a permanent section to allow users to type in the price of standard services they are paying across the country and perhaps denominated in local currency, over time.

Like a poll for example.

This would provide a great summary into the pricing across the world. You probably could even get money for the data re: current bloomberg article. as it does provide information on the economic situation as well over time as well as PPP across currencies.
