On my first night in Peru I stayed in the Radisson Miraflores, having arrived late I called one of the escort services and had them send a girl. Got stuck with a USD 20 extra person charge, despite having booked for two people and the girl only staying for one hour. Not recommended.

Hi fellow mongers!
I'm new at this site and I am also a new member here. I will post as I finallies some scoores. For now I am making my plans for my trip to Lima in December.
I'm planning to stay and rent privat ensuits in hostels because of two reasons: nice prices and a lot of backpackers and singles just out for fun, as me.
I have never been in Lima or Peru before.
I would be very pleased if you could tell me if:
- this is chicafriendly places?
-It makes it okay to bring a girl, whatever whom, if I pay for two persons/night?
*hollywood
*kusillushostel
*Stop & Drop Lima Backpacker
*One Hostel
*The Point hostel
Maybe you have another ideas; I'm very thankful for that inf. Too.
I'm a man close to 40, very easygoing, and young kind of living, thinking and fit's in most arenas. If anyone is in Lima in December and like to have some company, just pm me. (maybe I will have a friend and his _wife! _ with me, but his cool and a pure monger too)
Thank you in advance for your help and I hope to meet some faces to all this names here.

Posts: 1335Hotel Maria Luisa Disappointment
I am back from Lima and must now withdraw my report from two years ago recommending the Maria Luisa. At s/70 for the single and s/80 for the matrimonial, is now overpriced for the quality.
They no longer have the in-room safe. My matrimonial room was cheap and dirty. They have spiffed up the lobby but the rooms, at least mine, have deteriorated without improvement.
There are much better options for the budget traveler in Lince and the bus/taxi fares are cheap. I wish I had checked out the Hotel Tac before my last day, better quality at s/50 and just a 5 minute combi ride down Benavides.

Now with 3G internet (Fastest in Lima)!
As you know there are a lot of problems with internet here in Miraflores!
I have a lot of businessmen who absolutely require fast dependable service either in the Penthouse or when enjoying the private roof terrace and the issue has finally been resolved !
Now Lima's best located apartment, just got better!

Posts: 113Requesting info on apartments
Good day everyone -
I will be in Lima during the 1st week of May. I have checked for 1bdr apts on ACP and I noticed that none of the 1bdr's on ACP has Air-Condition. Is it a necessity to have air-con?
I have checked the weather and noticed that it does get chilly @ night. How about during the day? Do I need to have an air-con to survive the day?

Friends, I took an apartment on rent in Miraflores. It is on main Jose Pardo avenue. Building number 537, very close to Vivanda, cafe 21 and lot of restaurants. The apartment has 1 bedroom, small kitchen, living area and 1 bathroom. Good security at the entrance. No problem in getting in the girls. Rent is USD 40 per day. Daily maid service included. Free cable internet.
Anyone wants to have a look at the apartment, please call me (997762613). If you want to rent it, please call Mr Elias Loo, cell 997430225.
Cheers!

Hola Hombres:
I will be traveling to Iquitos this summer and have a 10 hour layover in Lima. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel around the airport. I would like it to be girl friendly as I plan to have a little fun during my lay over.
Thanks
