Lima - Hotel Recommendations

Does anyone knows if these 2 hotels are girl friendly? I didn't find any report on it. Thanks for any help

Unfortunately the only truly GF Hotel with reasonable prices in Miraflores; the SuitesApartHotel (http://www.suitesaparthotel.com/) has been sold and is shutting down Dec. 28. It was the only hotel which allowed more than one girl in at a time and never hassled female guests in any way. Given the lack of available properties and land in Miraflores, I imagine that the hotel has been purchased by a multinational group. Now, more than ever any members traveling to Lima should try to come for a minimum of 7 nights in order to stay in a short term apartment rental.

I don´t have to copy someone´s list (which you have a habit of doing), because when anyone asks I just tell them the truth; the only truly GF hotel where you can bring in more than one girl at a time and they don´t bust your balls with I.D. B.S. is: http://www.suitesaparthotel.com/ . Maybe your friends have a habit of robbing forum members...mine don´t.

I also tell everyone that first choice should always be an apt., (you only have to stay a week, NOT two), and to make sure they aren´t getting gouged on price. The fact that an apt. owner posts on ISG is no guarantee. The apartmentsclub guy however, can be trusted.

I would also suggest your Suggested Hotel List contains more than one hotel?

People buy fake Ids for alot of reasons. Hide their Age, Bogus address just to name two. Yes. These fake IDs expire as well.

I never suggested your girl friends were going to rob anybody.

Although obviously their IDs were not in order.

Or

Not to the liking of the person inspecting them.

Again not my fault?

If so someone choices to stay in an hotel for one week or two is not my problem.

Many guys have reward points which they use on vacations.

Also some guys don't want to make their bed every day while on vacations.

And want room service etc.

It's their choice. Not mine or yours.

Thanks for the information. I think I will have a hotel the first night/nights and then rent an apartment for the rest of the time.

I was looking at the area Miraflores and Barranco and tried to figure out where is best to stay.

-Miraflores because it is safer and a gringoarea with lots of party-places, as I understand,

-Barranco has more beaches in walking-distances and lots of party going on too.

So, am I doing right if I rent something in the area of " parque de los heroes"?

The list is bullshit.

All I can say to that. It is 1000% more helpful than than the list you didn't post.

But I have to admit the list is by no means perfect or complete.

And Yes.

Girls will need an up to date DNI card to enter just about any 5 Star Hotel in Lima.

Why?. You ask.

Because you can buy fake DNI cards in Av. Wilson for S/. 50.

The hotels in reality are just trying to protect their clients from being robbed.

As far as the Doubletree goes I think can speak with some authority about hotel being girl friendly. As I lived in this particular hotel for 1 1/2 years.

The list is bullshit and obviously copied from elsewhere (as is anything posted by Slyone without grammatical errors). Two members recently had girls refused entry at the Doubletree. The chicas had expired IDs. Since they weren´t going to the hotel to vote, the fact that the DNIs hadn´t been renewed was moot. The IDs proved they were over 18 and gave their personal information.

If you look at the reviews of this hotel in Tripadvisor or booking.com, you will find an abnormal number of customers complaining about getting overcharged on their credit cards.

Thanks man, but didn't do much research on it since was only staying there for one night. Sounds like another reason for mongerers not to stay at Radisson Miraflores.

Do Not fall for the old trick the travel agent got me a good deal?

The travel agent recommended me this one?

They recommend the one they make the most commission on?

As well most of you did not say to the travel agent you plan to bring a endless line of women back to you room for noisely sex sessions.

I know of only one other ISG member who has ever stayed in a backpacker hostal. He had to go to a normal hostal (ST hotel) to meet any girls. IMHO its a lousy idea. But if you don´t have the budget, then you don´t have an alternative. I strongly doubt you will meet any others with this hobby at any of the places you mentioned.

Unless he was refering to "Hollywood Suites" .. which does have cheap rooms...

As you suggested though - he's probably better off looking for something around Lince - either ST or using one there for his stay. But beware leaving anything remotely valuable in the rooms there.

But as a benefit - most of the hotels in Lince are chock full of working girls !

Does anyone have recent experience with La Paz Apart Hotel?

When I stayed there last Sat, it was gf in the afternoon but in the evening, the female receptionist won't let David's girl come to my room siting some security reason because some incident happened 4 days ago. I think it was just her time of the month.

On my first night in Peru I stayed in the Radisson Miraflores, having arrived late I called one of the escort services and had them send a girl. Got stuck with a USD 20 extra person charge, despite having booked for two people and the girl only staying for one hour. Not recommended.

OK, I won´t try to convince you. After your first night deception in a backpacker place, I suggest you go to any ST hostal...you will be able to get a room for around $20-$25 and bring in girls. Hotel Grimalni´s on Ave. Arequipa is probably best for you. There are alternatives further from Miraflores which are cheaper.

I see, but I have problem to understand de logical and the argument in stopping you from bringing your woman to your room if you´re paying for her: It´s your woman and you are a person with serious problem keeping a longer relationship, but god, you are lucky in meeting new ones.

My budget doesn´t stop there, but I don´t like to pay 50$ and even more for a room in a country where familys can live for that oneday-rate for a month, and is a sum that I easily can find a hotelroom for, in my country!

The prices are, because peoples just pays without a second thought, it´s the same with the mongering-prices; where americans use to camp you can expect whatever prices. You need to bargain where you should only need to drop a nickle (no offence, only my 2 cents).

If I pay 25-30$ for 2 persons in a room with okay standard and private bath, I don´t think It´s a barging, but it´s a fair price and I can spend my money on more important things like; paying up my luckyness in love.

Is there a chicafriendly place I can pay the same amount of money, it´s taken. I´m greatful for advice.
