Which of September, October, and November do you think would be best?

That August is the worst month (note: not Wurst) is strictly my opinion, mind you. Others here may disagree. So because I've held this opinion for some time, I've not actually been to an FKK in August for several years, therefore I cannot speak from recent first-hand experience, just from the side-lines, so to speak.

I beleive the line-ups pick up significantly after the start of September. A good guide might be to look at the schedule of Messe events in Frankfurt and plan your timing in response to that. As has been recently discussed here, visiting a club during a large Messe event has its pluses (great extended line-ups) , but also its negative sides (astronomically high hotel fees, crowded club conditions, girls in a greater processing mode, etc.). You can work around the negatives, but still, it might be best to visit in between two Messe events, when the line-ups are still a bit swelled, but when the hotels dip back down to their normal rates.

Not only are many girls on holiday, but so are alot of the male club visitors. Plus there are always problems with heat in the rooms (unless you go to Palace, where they do turn on the A / C in the rooms). And then there are the often-reported annoying flies.

But for me it is the line-up that makes or breaks a club at any given time. And August is not famous for the best line-ups. There are no messe events in town, which often draws lots of girls for the line-ups.

Personally, I would wait until September to visit the clubs.

$685 round trip Flint, MI to Detroit, MI to Frankfurt and return. March 8th. March 17th.

I found the same deal but at the end of May. It was only there for one day but luckily I bought it before Delta took away the low price. I read that Delta was offering roundtrips to Europe from some cities for $200 until they caught the error. Gone are the days of $400 roundtrips.

Going back two year, I used to see very reasonable airfare to Germany. Sometimes coming close to 400 USD roundtrip even in May. Last year, with all the airline mergers, prices practically doubled. This year its 2 1/2 times what I used to see way back when. Mid febuary on thru March is when you can usually find a decent price for a flight returning before mid May. Not this year so far.

Anyone else having trouble finding a decent price?

Are high and probably only going higher due to fuel. On the other hand, €'s are good: I just bought some at the second lowest rate for me in the last 2 years. I have to travel at the end of June and a few days into July. Costs may be high, some girls will be on holidays & there will be more tourists. I don't care: it will be the best time for me because I am there!

I am not sure about the Hessen clubs but imagine they are also ok. Let's face it there are advantages and disadvantages to any time of the year. Oase does have a very nice out door facility which I am sure is put to good use in August.

Artemis is a bit slow in August but is also a nice time to visit as the girls who are there are generally more laid back. At the time of this writing though Artemis is more or less and indoor club. There are supposedly plans to build a big out dorr facility but at the moment this is just plans.

I am not sure about the Hessen clubs but imagine they are also ok. Let's face it there are advantages and disadvantages to any time of the year. Oase does have a very nice out door facility which I am sure is put to good use in August.

My experience is primarily the Hessen clubs, but I think the question raised apply for the whole FKK scene:

August, as any other holiday period, is a time when many girls are away on holiday. So for guys searching the best selection of girls this is a bad time to visit. Personally I would have picked May/June or September, which all are relatively warm months, but with a much greater selection of girls at the clubs.

Still I do share some of Angus' view on August. I too kinda like the laid back atmosphere among the girls, and of course in combination with the lovely outdoors at Oase / World. I mean, if Oase has 100 girls present on a Saturday night in prime season, my repeat / to do list will include 20- 30 girls. That is more than I can handle regretfully. In August there may be only half of this, but still plenty for me to do. No problem for my taste - except maybe in the early morning hours before the full line-up is present. Admittedly some guys are pickier than me and therefore avoid holidays.

Also, I do not mind the extra trolls that stroll the fields in summer (the "old girls" trying their luck and stepping in around holiday seasons). They are nice to talk with, even though I do not spend my money on them. But if you are disturbed by this, you may want to pick another time to visit.

One good idea I think is to keep to the larger clubs in August. Clubs with a great outdoor area obviously also attract a greater crowd. As girls are on holiday, the smaller clubs may struggle harder to maintain a decent line-up.

I have read the last two years of posts on this thread, but I couldn't find an answer to this question:

I am worried that there may be some holidays or other reason that would make it a bad time of year for FKK clubs.

Can anyone give me any guidance? Is there a better month for me to go?

On this the highly experienced Hessen Bub and I are on the same page. Palace should definitely be a part of any newbie's introduction to the FKK scene. I personally would skip it if I had to, but I've already been there several times. Notice that I didn't say that I don't ever want to go to Palace ever again. I realize that with "tute migratory patterns" Palace could one day be the place for me. Things change! But that said, for the next several trips I would not be upset if Palace wasn't a part of the rotation.

The Captain, Breadman, HB, Cane and others have all given great advice here, and I suggest you listen carefully to what they are saying. I just want to highlight some of what have been said:

- A FKK is not a place you enter, fuck and leave. It is a different way of thinking; a different way of living. Take your time and let the experience sink in. This is a place you want to enter, relax and stay ALL day and maybe ALL night too. Plan staying 3- 4 hrs in a small club and 6- 8 hrs in one of the larger as a MINIMUM.

- Germany is large and has a BIG FKK scene. Do not expect to be able to experience everything in only one week. Spend your precious leisure time fucking and not driving on a highway. This hobby is addictive and you WILL be coming back for more at a later stage anyway.

- Do visit as many FKKs as you can, but do not plan visiting more than one FKK per day (max. two every now and then, but not really recommended). Keep in mind you may want to have time for at least one revisit in each area (your favorite FKK).

- Do not plan to visit more than 1- 2 towns. Landing in Berlin I would focus primarily on Berlin; landing in Frankfurt focus on Frankfurt, landing in Köln or Düsseldorf ..., well, you know what to do (see the Captain's suggestions for clubs to visit in each area).

- If visiting Frankfurt I would look at Oase, World and Palace as mandatory places to visit first with Mainhattan as an outsider. Sure, Palace receives a few controversial reports, but you need to know firsthand what the fuss is all about. If disappointed, then remember Oase is only 20- 25 mnts away by car and Mainhattan even closer. Other possibilites in the Frankfurt / Hessen area are Das 5 Element, Atlantik and Sharks, but these places can be skipped on a first visit.

Question of timing. Visit the RLD from late afternoon to midnight, it's a fascinating atmosphere, it's safe, don't worry, and there's some nice girls that will give good service for 20 to 30€.

I would skip Mainhattan, but if you want to go, the club is clean and new, but better in summer.

If I were to skip one, I would skip Palace. The girls there just don't put out the way that I like on average. I have never been to the RLD as I generally don't like those in any city, so I can't comment on that. As a newbie PriceFisher, and since you are calling this your FKK tour, I would recommend that you see as many different clubs as is reasonable (as another here said don't waste too much time traveling around . . . spend more time in a few places banging girls).

I spent my first FKK voyage based primarily in Frankfurt. I went twice to Palace, Mainhattan, and Oase. I also spent a couple of nights in Berlin at Artemis. On subsequent trips I added World into the rotation and will hit Golden Time soon. The reason why I say see as many clubs as is reasonable on the first trip is because that will help you plan better the next time (and there will be a next time). You'll always feel like you might be missing something if you don't go to a place you could have visited. Discover which ones you like as soon as possible, and that will make it easier to plan in the future.

So with that in mind, and not overdoing it on the travel, go to as many of the mainline FKKs as you can on the first trip. Then on your second trip, you'll be able to make better decisions for yourself that you'll be 100% comfortable with. If somebody told me right now I couldn't go to Palace on my next several trips I wouldn't care because I been there and done that and know there are plenty of other places that are better for satisfying my sexual appetite.

That's where you want to get to. Knowing the market well enough that you know exactly where to spend your time and money in order to satisfy your specific needs as the consumer. In order to do that, you need to see a number of the different FKKs. With the concentration of them in and around Frankfurt, that's a good place for a newbie to start. If you're in Frankfurt, then visit at least Palace, Mainhattan, and Oase. You'll be glad you did, even if you don't necessarily "click" with every place. It's a part of the learning and familiarization process.

And remember that things change. The place that was great the last time may suck the next time. I wasn't so enthused with Mainhattan my first visit, but on subsequent visits there I found me some real, real nasty girls! LOL! So, if you're going to be a regular you need to give a place a few chances (unless it was just that bad for you) in order to have a good rotation of clubs to visit on any one trip.
