But when you weed out the 5's and 6's who are grabbing at you what is the best way to approach the aloof, fine girls who are certain to quote a higher price?

Disregard all this business about 5's and 6's and price and first decide which chica you are most attracted to, then talk to them in whatever words of Spanish you know, plus sign language, plus simple English. At least learn enough Spanish to say something like "Wow, you are beautiful". In any case they will know exactly what you are after.

Disregard whether they are attractive or not, because it is simply a matter of opinion as to which chicas are the hottest. The chica I want to get my hands on could be your 5 for all I know. And even the most stunning chica in your opinion may be quite ordinary once you strip away the makeup, the hair weaves, the padded bra, the stretch marks, the disco clothes, the high heels, and the beer goggles.

Character and personality are probably more important than looks alone when it comes to finding a good bed partner, though obviously all of us have particular physical types whom we find more attractive and will tend to focus on them.

So first find the chica you want and then start thinking about how much you are willing to pay her. 1500 pesos with the possibility of 500 pesos extra for superior performance for short time should get almost any of them to your room. You might get them for a bit less depending on many other factors, but I would not be inclined to go over that price if the chica is an unknown quantity, because of the risk of poor performance at the business end of the transaction increases when you are paying a premium.

In any case, don't burn your bridges. Negotiate in a friendly manner and if you can't reach an agreement on price, there will be plenty more who will. And if you are there for a few days, the one with whom you failed to reach an agreement may come around later or on the next day. On the strip Saturday night there were a lot of girls and a lot of guys. But I noticed that hardly any guys are leaving with girls. Classico was open and I know it was 100 for women because some random chick came and asked me for 100 to go in. Many people came out complaining that it was packed shoulder to shoulder.

One of the advantages of the upstairs Classico disco is that it is enclosed and air-conditioned, so that means that no smoking is allowed inside. In the DR smoking is allowed in semi-open restaurants and bars, but not in enclosed buildings.

Recently it was a problem in Latino Drink or whatever it is called, because they were allowing people to smoke cigars, etc. Indoors, which was making quite a few other people sick with respiratory infections and so on. A friend of mine who is a full time resident of Sosua was planning to speak to the mayor's office about this, but whether he did or not, I'm not sure. I must ask him.

Whether this in any way contributed to the closure, I cannot say, but I suppose it might just have been one element of noncompliance.

Anyway, I do like the upstairs Classico disco, though one would not want to be in there if a fire broke out.

First of all, all girls are different, so you have to approach them differently. How is your swag? Do you speak any Spanish? I go by the old saying if you like the way the diamond looks, then buy it.
