I like the snarky comments when its done against those who ask 'those' questions like: I have alot of money to spend but don't want any bad sessions, who should I see? Or the question about the towels and guys being naked. What really gets me though are the guys who ask the questions to save themselves money but can't support the forum with a measly $20. I've helped many newbies who had the pm function, I hardly go out of my way if I've got to post everything on the board. Before my first trip to Thailand I pm'd half a dozen people, got help from the few that replied. Another great research tool is youtube and google, spend time well before your trip to find out about where your going and then ask specific questions that have a better chance of getting answered.

I ran into a guy who was on one of these fkk tours. He had rented a car, and was simply sleeping in his car for a few hours. I do this on occasion but mainly when I'm driving from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf (or heading to a friends house halfway between the two). I'd rather do my driving at night when there's little traffic than be stuck somewhere with rush hour traffic. On my next trip I've found several hotels close to the clubs I want to visit for 25 euro's a night. But I do like to be flexible, I don't want to be locked into a hotel if I find a certain club has many girls that I need to see again. Or its raining nonstop up north but the sun is shinning in Frankfurt. So I'll book multiple hotels for single nights and cancel them depending on my location.

Its not about being an Ahole, its about people who come here, do not make any effort and ask questions that have been answered a myriad times before and would not need to be answered again if the original poster would take a few minutes of his time, read through some threads and does some searches.

Incidentally these are often the same people who only ever post questions or maybe sometimes useless trip advisor type reports, and never post actual girls reports.

I have a different take on it. I stopped booking hotels or even looking for them ahead of time, when I am on an FKK tour (which clearly sounds like you are on). Once I pick an FKK where I am finishing my evening, around 6 PM I ask the front manager about a hotel. I have had good luck finding hotels this way for around 50 Euro including breakfast. The hotels are generally small and in small towns close to FKK so parking is not an issue. GT evens sends a taxi to bring the key for 10 euro, if you are staying past 10 or 11 PM. Which is when the reception at most small hotels close.

I think mistakes are made by every one, newbie or not.

In any case, fucking a beautiful 21 year old for 50 Euros, an amount that does not even cover dinner for two in most places in Europe, can never be a mistake.

To that guy's question - you will get a robe or a towel. Unless you choose to walk around butt naked, I assume no one will stop you. I have seen plenty of men walking around naked or sun bathing nude in the outer gardens in the summer, but inside the club they mostly wear a towel. I actually do not mind walking around stark naked in the club area, if every one did so, but that is not the case unfortunately.

One advice I can US visitors. Try to get an ATM that gives a competent rate when withdrawing euros over there. I have a Schwab card which charges less than 1% above the official rate. Never ever exchange at the airport FX counters, they are a ripoff.

One of the biggest things to remember as a first timer is do not think that everything needs to be perfect. So what if you make a mistake and overspend on a taxi ride or stay at a less than desirable hotel. What will happen more than likely is that you will become addicted to the FKK lifestyle and will return many more times. Thus learning from your mistakes and then providing information to the next round of newbies. Trust me, every man on this site who is giving advice also walked into a club for the very first time and has made plenty of mistakes. If you try to make it all perfect, this results in unnecessary anxiety and even sexual performance problems. Just go with the flow, take lots of notes, and enjoy yourself.

As an experienced first timer, I think it would be important to note the distinction between Hessen and NRW clubs, generally.

Many clubs, especially around FRA, allow girls to approach the men to ask if they are interested, much like the US stripper club 'want to dances'. The difference here is that the girl may initiate some intimate touching. But once you take her into the theater (kino) or allow her to begin sucking your cock, you are assumed to be obligated to take her to the room (zimmer). Some girls are pushier about their approach (I. E. Sharks) than others, sometimes asking multiple times throughout the day. The pushier they are, the more likely you should avoid taking them to a zimmer.

This being said, my initiation was at Oase. I intended to take my time, get comfortable, and eat a little before taking my first session. My plan went out the window withing 10 minutes of showering and donning my Hessen dress, when legendary (based on reviews I read) Swiss Michelle approached me and introduced herself. Wang. Thank you Max and others that replied. I had no trouble in Germany several years ago, but did not know if the situation had changed due to recent security issues. And thanks for the reminder about calling the card company about travel plans and writing down a list of 800 numbers. Sometimes I forget about that when travelling much shorter distances and have my card put on hold until I call them.

Maybe one day the USA card issuers will switch to the European chip standard instead of the mag strip, so everything is compatible everywhere.

A couple of other tips:

1. Call your banks and credit unions and tell them the dates you will be in Germany. They will note this in your file. If you don't do this, there's a chance that one or more of them might think somebody has got your card or identity and block the card. Some companies will put a travel note in your file and some won't care, but, it's good to make the effort. Some cards even waive the 1% international transaction fee. It's good to check that out as well. Make sure you know the daily limits on withdrawals and ask the limit to be increased if necessary.

2. In case your cards get lost or stolen, make sure you have the non-800# written down. All companies will take a collect call to report a lost or stolen card.

3. Make sure your ATM and debit card PINs are only four digits. Virtually all machines in Europe can't handle more than four digits.

4. When you make a withdrawal, some banks give you the option of taking the withdrawal in Euros of immediately in dollars. You still get Euros out of the machine. It's a matter of whether you want the immediate exchange rate or one later on when the transaction is posted. NEVER take the "dollars" rate. They generally are rip-offs. The best exchange rates out there are from your debit cards if you take the withdrawal in Euros.

Get lots of sleep and don't drink at all or very little. You will need every ounce of stamina you can muster!
