Posts: 56One thing about that KTV at the Pan Pacific(Caesar's) , there isn't any hanky panky there it's a legit and well lit singing with a GRO type of establishment.
The ladies are beautiful though, thanks to Genius8 I was able to see them :)

Too bad she mentioned the keyword, Rich Sugar Daddy. That I'm not. I'm on a limited budget and want the most bang for my buck. She seems like a very busy girl anyway.

I sent you guys a PM.
Eric, when you go to Pan-Pacific, be sure to check out the KTV inside the hotel.

Posts: 8Thanks guys for all your input! I think I've got a very good picture now of what to expect and where to go.
Looks like I just might make the trip to LA Cafe / EDSA Complex after all.
I'll also do my best to see what is available in and around my hotel. I'll definitely post up full reports of everything I find / don't find during my travels.
Thanks again!

You'll have to forgive me, I'm a product of public education ! "Indurate" was not even in my small Webster's. I like the idea of "in Duarte". For those of you unfamiliar with the L.A. area, Duarte is not the nicest of neighborhoods.
Possibillities are everywhere. But may involve more time than the cab ride.

while I haven't spent time at your particular hotel, I have stayed in the area many, many times. I don't know of any place there that is worthwhile.
I can't speak for the hotel bar, don't know anything about it.
When you get there you will see. There are a few cafes near by, like Starbucks, TGIFridays, etc. But, you are kinda out of luck for real girlie type bars.
good luck, give us a report

Asked the Bellman, Security Guard or the Bartender at the hotel you are staying if he can recommend someone for companionship. I am pretty sure they can recommend. If you venture out, don't feel out of place because Metro Manila is "foreigner" friendly in general. But then again, you have to use common sense and listen to your instinct when danger lurks around.

Posts: 8Firedick: The definition of "Indurate" is:
1. To grow hard; harden.
2. To become firmly fixed or established.
I thought that was a fitting handle for a monger. :)
Anyhow, thanks everyone for all the replies to my post. I guess I'm going to have to make the trip to LA Cafe or the EDSA Complex.
Do any of you guys know if the hotel and surrounding area that I am staying in has any possibilities of action at all? Do you think there is the possibility of some working girls hanging out at the hotel bar at night?
I know, I'm swimming here, but I'll be so busy with work while I'm there, that taking two hours out of a night just to commute to/from the action kinda sucks.
Thanks again guys. I really appreciate your responses.

Manila Pavilion Hotel is a 5 star in Ermita, Manila while EDSA complex is at Roxas Blvd corner EDSA, Pasay City. It is almost a stright line along Roxas Blvd. Nighttime w/ normal traffic should be around 15 minutes each way. All PI hotels are girl friendly. Enjoy.

your info is right on the mark. You have nailed all the points I was going to make.
Personally I love P. Burgos, but, it is deathly expensive. Expect to pay over $100 per night, if you stay out and buy drinks and take a girl home. EDSA is half that cost.
cheers,

Much appreciated.

I hope that's not really "in Duarte". If so, I can understand the need for a RP trip. Sounds like the info you're getting is on the money, but. You may do better (a little) than an hour if you don't head out until later, say 9:00 or 10:00. Yes, you'll still have traffic and a longer haul than I would like, but, P. Burgos in Makati isn't too far and has some of the cutest girls in Manila. It is pretty damn expensive though. EDSA Complex is a cluster of gentlemens bars under one roof, on the north/east corner of EDSA and Roxas (runs along Manila Bay). Not a bad place for the first timer. It won't take quite an hour to get there, after rush hour, but almost. You could spend the first part of the eveing there, then say close to midnight, head for L.A. Cafe. Traffic shouldn't be a problem then.
It has been a few years since I lived in Manila, so my info may be bunk. I welcome the regulars here to correct me.
Teddybr99,
You are about 5 KM from the complex. You're also only a few blocks from L.A. Cafe.

I have been to the Philippines 5 times already, but always with my wife. I usually stay at what is now known as the Manila Pavilion, formerly the Holiday Inn on UN Avenue. What is the distance from the hotel to the EDSA complex? I am hoping to have time before going back home because my wife is staying in the province for an extra week. If anyone is in town March 17-27, private message me, maybe we can meet and have a drink.

You can back read on this board to see some feedback on his great service. You won't be alone in Manila I guarantee you that :)

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, I cannot change my hotel reservation. It's a business trip and I'm stuck there.
Guess I'll just have to hope there are some freelancers roaming around my area if I am to get lucky.
Can you elaborate on the EDSA complex? I've read a few reviews mentioning this, but I'm still not really clear as to what / where the EDSA complex really is.
Thanks again.
