Only area which is debated is what percentage of chance you have of getting HIV if you engage in bareback intercourse with a HIV person. I think the range is 0. 1% to 5% depending on a wide varierty of factors. Which means if one takes the higher range to be on sfe side, you are virtually guaranteed to get with within 10-20 fucks if you go bareback.

Yes, doesn't appear that high, but it is still way above the probability of getting involved in an air crash or being hit by a truck while walking on the street.

Whether you want to take the risk or not is your call. But having personally known someone who contracted HIV from his high risk activities in Mumbai and then passed it on to his wife (both died of AIDS a few years back leaving behind 2 kids who are being looked after by the grand-parents), I would say it isn't worth the risk.
