As my hotel was at walking distance to Karlsruher strass, I decided to visit Karls for the first time to meet Yvonne.

I saw on her web page that she started at 12:00 until 04:00, I found that's too long as working hours!!

The place is named "Atelier" , on the left when we enter the courtyard.

Dana opened the door (the house is rather dark) and gave me a card (see attached photo) and told me to use this phone number to ask for an appointment with Yvonne.

When I left the house, I called this number but the lady didn't speak English.

As my dinner with a friend finished at 00:00, I called around 00:20 and was answered that Yvonne was busy until 02:00 (or for 2 hours, as the lady who answered didn't spealk much English and I didn't speak German).

Five minutes later, I called again to ask for an appointment at 02:00 and was said to call in one hour.

So, I called around 01:30 and was said to call again in the morning without mentioning at what time?

As the way to answer made me think that the lady didn't want a longer conversation, I abandonned and went to bed (so, one hour wasted).

I think that people who don't speak German could waste a lot of time and opportunities (with other houses) if they try to get an appointment by phone with Karls.

By the way, something bothers me with Karls as with Monrouge: there are many Latvian ladies working at Karls (while Bulgarian ladies at Monrouge), I wonder if there is a "borderline" organization behind?

Thanks for your reply, but the mentioned post does not actually answer my question. It sounds from post #3 that the arranged room was a one off and not typical. It also sounded like the location was less than appropriate. Where I live, independent escorts will usually work out of their own apartment (for security reason) or will do outcall to upscale hotels.

So, I am still not clear whether independent escorts in Berlin typically work out of an apartment or if that is not common.

It's probably best if I stick to Artemis for my first trip! Haha!

My least favorite brothel was Bordell Karlsruher (http://www.erotik-berlin.com/). This brothel appears to have business ties to a "private model" website (http://www.privatmodelleberlin.com/) and an escort site (http://www.escortgirlsberlin.de/modelle.html). So you'll see the same girls at all three of these websites. I chose Karmen from the lineup. Her website photos were photoshopped for sure, but she was still an attractive enough woman. I would repeat. There wasn't a huge difference in the quality of the brothels I visited, but Karlsruher had the least attractive environment and the most inconvenient shower facility.

RB thought it was time to try the new and so scheduled a 1 HR meet up with Emmanuel at Karlsruhrerstr. 7 a. I went to Halensee to see what was up at Salon Prestige and Erotik / Karlsruher. Salon Prestige always seems to have a poor selection of girls when I'm there, only three girls and nothing to my taste. So I left for Karlsruher Bordell two streets further down the Ku'damm from Prestige. Even though Prestige is a nicer, lighter place, Karlsruher seems to have better looking girls.
