    Hey,

    Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I was last in Aracaju about a year ago. Used to head up there once very month or two, and having just spoken with some ex-colleagues, I'm told cock girls is no longer open.

    However, if you're on Av. Mario Jorge Menezes Viêira heading from Atalaia into Centro, just before Rua Pedro Mandarino there's a placed called Go Bellas (a pink building) which is still open. Usually 6-10 girls working in the house, with a courtyard for having a few drinks. No cover.

    But with girls in a culture where girls prepare to marry at 18 and not later than 25, with a man from Europe or the US, is kind of winning on lottery. The gringo should be 35-55, and prepared to form a family. Brazilian girls are so horny that having sex is the least of the problems. For free. Move to another town. I did it in northern Argentina 2006, I was 36, she was the tallest and blonde among the many indian / mestizo population. And dirt cheap compared to BS As. You get, in Brazil and Argentina, if you can the lingo, friends, yes, it can be boring.

    In 2006 I showed some guys adverts in the newspaper. They where so cheap I thought I read wrong. It was a zero less than I thought. This was in Santiago del Estero, a region with 700,000 persons. The boys said, "for that price you get a nice house with swimming pool and everything". It can have been $US2500, it was NOT $US25.000 since I always rent. Maybe then, you can find a nice house for $US 5. 000, since I remember that it was much for them, but nothing for me, and a zero less or even 2, than in BS As. That big is the difference if you learn Spanish and or portuguese!

    Crime, violence is not an issue, people where happy, that was my impression. I talk about the cities that lies close to Paraguay, Bolivia, they are completely different than the exploit big cities at the coast. And prices for real estate, that I would have payed less for renting a house in BS As than buying one in Santiago del Estero. Brazil must the same.

    I was the only gringo. People did not try to use me, approach me for money etc.

    I have recommended myself to go there again, but 2006 my Spanish was lously, with an intensive course in Brazilian Portuguese I can live there 1 month at a time, 3-5 times a year. Suddenly The Flight becomes the most expensive expense, from having being, in relation to girls and hotels, the cheapest. Now girls, restaurants, hotel, renting an apartment, going to a nice place at The Local River, the cheap. Since I'm addicted to Internet, that is, but will become solved somehow. I'm a social worker, but have a hobby in culture, by nature; history, art, theater, music. And, I consider erotics also to be a form of culture, like flirting, how the men and females act, dress, which is cool, stigma.

    If I can live there, having learned the lingo, $US1000-2000, down from 3000-4000, changes my life completely.

    Today, from having been 1500 REIS, $US1000 is now around 4000 REIS. And some guy here expected it to fall to 6 or even 7!

    What can I get for 4000-8000 REIS a month.

    A little sweet 18 yo wife, or 22, getting a kid or 2, I would life there comfortable. A bride +9-10. Maybe some expensive boob, ass, lipo. I could bring my MB coup!

    That old idea came back. It completely change my preconditions.

    Portuguese if I choose the Brazilian side, anyway it's a good thing to have!
    Hahahahahahah too funny man.

    Yes the economic downturn won't change for at least 10 years I predict so enjoy!

    "Then": early nineties.
    "Now": 2015.
    Lets look at some of the Capitals:

    * Rio de Janeiro:
    Then: Rio used to have the famous Help with several hundreds of pro's. Outside was Terrao Atlntico which was like a zoo with all kinds of GPs. Ho-beach in front of Othon Palace always had lots of pro's waiting for customers. Meia Pataca was the afternoon hangout for the GPs. Outside Copacabana there where many other excellent places to meet pro's and non-pro's. Gipsys in Leblon, The Mexican club in front of Solarium, Trash at Lagoa, Ilha dos Pescadores in Barra, Pyramide in Duque de Caxias and many more clubs.
    Now: In Copacabana you have Mab's with low-class pro's and a bunch of strip clubs. Not exciting at all.

    * Salvador:
    Then: Pelourinho used to be really popular. Very easy to pick-up pro's and non-pro's. Porto da Barra was really wild. There was even a small alley with a dozen of small GP-bars. Barra used to very popular with lots of bars and clubs. Once a week Casquinha de Siri had GP-night with hundreds of free-lancers.
    Now: Pelourinho is dead. Barra as well. Porto da Barra only offers crack-wh*res. Along the orla are a couple of overpriced and lousy strip-clubs.

    * Morro de So Paulo:
    Then: Used to be extremely popular. Always crowded with Brazilian tourists. Wild beach-parties where the girls got free beers if they climbed on the top of the bar and took of their panties. Impossible not to get laid.
    Now: Lost it's popularity. It's no longer wild. Now it's more sitting at tables with candles and listen to troubadours.

    * Porto Seguro:
    Then: In the early nineties this was the paradise of Brazil. Porto Seguro only had one club, Boca da Barra, the lambada club. The native girls were like shit on flies. Not exaggerating but you could easily go for a quickie on the beach with three different girls the same night. In the late nineties Porto Seguro became the spot for the young Brazilian tourists. Somebody burnt down Boca da Barra and a dozen giant clubs popped up in the outskirts of Porto Seguro, Transilvania, Jungle, Aquarius, Ax Moi, Toa-Toa etc. In Centro there were several bars that were like bars in the wild west.
    Now: Porto Seguro is no longer popular among the young crowd. Many of the old clubs are overgrown. Now it's mostly bus excursions coming to Porto Seguro. Beach during the day, buying ugly T-shirts and berimbaus in the afternoon and sipping capetas in the evening.

    * Arraial d'Ajuda:
    Then: Even a bit wilder than Porto Seguro. Broadway had almost 20 bars. Totally crazy. Wild beach parties and lambada clubs.
    Now: Not popular anymore. Only two bars left on Broadway.

    * Natal:
    Then: Natal was really excellent until 1998. Praia dos Artistas had several excellent clubs like Sax & Sax, Muralha and Chaplin. Tons of girls, pro's and non-pro's. When the European charter tourism started in the late nineties Ponta Negra became popular and IMO Natal was no longer interesting.
    Now: Natal is quite dead.

    * Canoa Quebrada:
    Then: Canoa used to be one of the most popular places for the partiers. Local girls came from many different cities and all of them with the sole purpose of getting laid with gringo's, for free.
    Now: Far from what it used to be. Still a decent nightlife, but many of the girls who used to spread their legs for free 20 years ago are now pro's.

    * Jericoacoara:
    Then: In the early nineties there were hardly any electricity. A paradise with lots of small nice bars and forr clubs.
    Now: Totally exploited. all is business and buggy's roaring around.

    * Fortaleza:
    Then: In the early nineties the orla in Iracema had lots of clubs. The best one was Deck Bar (later changed name to Moby Dick (?)). Always crowded with pro's and non-pro's. Besides Deck Bar there were many other excellent clubs. Not to forget the scary strip-club Africa. Later ALL the bars and clubs along the orla closed. The GP-action moved up to the ho-crossing. Forr Mambo (ex-Kangaroo), Europa Bar, Caf del Mar, Zipi Bar etc.
    Now: Very little action in the ho-crossing. Zipi is still working. Armazem is also working.

    SUMMARY: I could go on forever with many other examples but I think you get my point.

    Small cities like Porto Seguro, Arraial d'Ajuda, Itacar, Morro de So Paulo and Jericoacoara used to be paradises. Cheap, beautiful beaches, untouched and hordes of willing girls. After a couple of years those kind of places becomes popular. They start to attract tourists. Freeways are getting paved, airports opens and soon they attract another kind of tourists, package-tourists. The locals gets greedy and everything becomes expensive and the whole city gets exploited and starts to look like a mini-Buzios with neat cobbled streets, chique shops and troubadours bars.

    Big touristy cities like Salvador and Fortaleza also changes. They get cleaned up and becomes boring.

    So, is all the hope gone? No of course not. Brazil have 27 capitals. The majority of them are still very good. Specially if you like going for non-pro's. The less tourists they attracts the longer they stays good.
    Not to forget that Brazil have thousands of small cities with no tourists and no gringo's at all. Going there as a gringo means that you becomes the main attraction.

    The classic capitals like Rio de Janeiro and So Paulo have a lot to offer. If you can stand So Paulo it has the best night-life of Brazil. Rio de Janeiro still has a great nightlife as long as you are willing to explore the city outside of Copacabana and Lapa.

    My advice to you is to explore Brazil. Brazil isn't only Copacabana. Explore and you'll get rewarded. You'll find your sex-paradises where you least expect it. When you find them remember to keep your mouth shut. Sharing your Shangri-la of bundas on a forum, with mostly lurkers who are happy to take and never gives back, is not a good idea at all.

    Have fun!

    I am wondering about the mechanics of that business of finding girls hanging around bus stops, being here in Foz right now. Do you hire a cab and drive around looking for them, or do you walk from your hotel, I mean how does that work?

    I am staying at the Ambassador hotel, which is convenient for catching buses to the Falls or the airport or Paraguay, but is probably far from the sex motels. It is walkable to the Clinica Bem Estar, at Travessa Ceara 439, which has fairly hot girls that will give you a massage and more for 200 reales ($70).

    Porto Seguro and Arraial d'Ajuda, update.

    A short update on Porto Seguro and Arraial dÁjuda.

    GENERAL:
    * The tourism here continues to go down. Main tourism are excursions from mainly Minas Gerais.
    * These places no longer attracts the young and wild party crowd. Now the tendence is more to families.
    * The police has down a hard work killing of the local bandits. There still occurs some shootings. The majority of the crackudos are gone.

    NON-PRO ACTION:
    * It's still a good place to meet non-pro's. Both local girls as tourist girls. However it's far from the gringo-paradise it used to be.
    * Many of the good old bars that attracted the local girls are gone. Most are turned into shops. Many of the remaining bars scares away the locals with high prices.
    * Local girls: I prefer going for the local girls instead of the tourist girls. There are many beautiful dark-skinned local girls. Might take a day or two before you get them in bed. If you don't mind light-skinned mineiras there are plenty to choose from.
    * Be quick when you'll find a girl that you like. You'll have competition from many local guys whose main interest are f*cking tourist girls.

    PRO ACTION:
    * Ho-houses: There is a strip club in Porto Seguro, Bagdad Café. I haven't tried it this year. There are a bunch of bars with low-end GPs in the Mangue. The area isn't considered safe so be careful if you go there. I didn't see any doable girls. Outside Porto Seguro there are some better ho-bars in the big favela Baiano. Only go there if you're together with some locals.
    * Streetworkers, Porto Seguro: There are very few left. You´ll find them on Passarela do Álcool and down at Praça do Relógio.
    * Streetworkers, Arraial dÁjuda: Almost all are gone. I could only spot two SWs. Both crackudos. Propably more SWs in Carnval time.
    * Caution: The pro's here are known to drug their customers and steal all their belongings.

    NIGHT-LIFE:
    * Porto Seguro: The drink stands at Passarela do Álcool, the bars at Praça do Relógio and the parties at Axé Moi and Ilha dos Aquarius.
    * Arraial d'Ajuda: The drinks stands at the main praça, Bar Buda, Beco dos Cores and the clubs Tex Mex and Morocha.
    * Morocha is one of the best alternatives. Unfortunately they charge R$10 entrance on the best days which scares away the local girls. However, I think I've rarely seen so many beautiful girls in one place like I saw there last Friday.

    Macapá, update.

    Macapá:

    The forums last update on Macapá was my own update made in 2003. Macapá is very much off the beaten track and is often skipped in the guidebooks.

    Macapá is the capital of Amapá. The city is very hot, slow going and with a pleasant wild west atmosphere. The people are open, friendly and honest. The sights can be seen in half a day. The Fortaleza de São José de Macapá, Marco Zero do Ecuador, Trapiche Eliezer Levy, Igreja São José and Museu Sacaca. The only option for a beach is Fazendinha. A strip of restaurants and bars along the Amazon river. Dark brown water. You don't go to Macapá to watch the sights.

    The only reasons to come here are party and women. I've seen no other gringos at all. The gringo-attraction couldn't be higher. Being blond and blue-eyed works like a charm in Macapá, but I guess anybody who looks different will have success in Macapá.

    THE PRO-SCENE:
    As I only go for regular non-pro girls in Macapá I can't tell for certain about the pro-scene. However, you could try Jambeirinho, Bar da Loura, Casa das Primas, Boite Bolivar, Bar do Chico, Casa das maquinas, Casa da Chá, Casa do Neto, Casa da Bahiana and Boulevard. The last one is supposed to be the most exclusive casa in Macapá. You better check with taxi drivers about which casas that are currently working.

    THE NON-PRO SCENE:
    Dance-clubs, forró clubs and discos: Companhia do Bolero, Pesque e Pague, Armazem Beer and others.
    Bars: Lots of outside bars along Beira Rio in centro, close to Trapiche. Farther away on Beira Rio even more bars like Bier Haus, La Conga Café and a dozen more bars.
    Favourite club: Companhia do Bolero on Sundays. R$10 entrance, beer R$3, large forró-club with lots of girls. Most dressed in short skirts or tiny shorts. Many hot girls. The girls comes to you like flies on shit. The club is povão-style with a bit rough atmosphere.

    THE QUALITY OF THE WOMEN:
    A very mixed quality. As in most cities in Nordeste there are many chubby thick girls without necks and with squared heads. There are also some breathtakingly beautiful girls. Girls that are real knockouts with killer-bodies. The girls are very curious about gringos. Take phone numbers, date and invite them back to your hotel. I got a lot of quality sex for free in Macapá.

    SAFETY:
    The impression of Macapá is that the city is very calm and safe. Not true! Before I heard it's the 36th most violent cities in the world I took a nightly 30 block-stroll. Apparently there are quite a few assaltos, specially on buses.

    I am sure I will find some places myself with the help of the taxi drivers and locals, but would love to get an idea what to expect.

    Thanks in advance for any help.
    Any luck in Macae, I'm there next week.
