I went back to CP earlier this year and walked around these nostalgic allies at Hui Mei, White Swan and Yalan as well. Also took a peak at Jiamei again. Nowadays things are a little more complicated, at first the front desk wants me to open a room first before they show the girls. But later another front desk staff who still remembered me said she would show me some girls without paying a room. You have to wait in room and girl comes one at a time. They had a few resident girls working there, but she told me at that day only 3. It was not even fun anymore.

Recently I took a trip to Mong La. It is on the border with China, the China side is called Daluo. Mong La is a strange place, it's in Myanmar but the whole city is Chinese, uses RMB, uses Chinese sim, uses Beijing time, and everyone speaks only Chinese. What surprised me was it has the rough edge and open sleazy feel of Zhuhai and Changping in their early days, very similar to the feel when I first visited CP and Zhuhai 15 years ago. Actually I haven't tried to get any freebies nor WG's, since I am in Germany most of the time, and I don't like the girls here at all. If they are bigger than me, and act like a guy I might as well become gay, which I am not.

Also I find that sleeping with a girl who I really connect to emotionally and who I find physically attractive, feminine and caring as well is my preference, as it had been before.

Going with WG's without any emotional connection is like sticking my the* into a hole in the wall for the hundredth time, which does not do anything for me, and is just a waste of money, time and positive energy, bringing my mood down. It would be paying for having not a good time.

Here's my two cents:

In a five star hotel you will almost never be bothered, extremely unlikely. But the police ask to check the hotel registers at the cheaper hotels all the time. If they see a single male is registered and suspect a girl is with you they may, if so inclined, check the room. And if they then think she is a working girl then the trouble could start.

As backwards as this sounds, the surefire way to avoid this is to make sure the girl registers for the room also. If they think she is your girlfriend you will NOT have a problem. The old rules about being married don't matter they won't care about that.
