I do not remember if I bought generic or original actually. As long as the ingredient is the same, I don't care what the brand name is. Since I was buying in a proper apotek, I trusted that the box was labelled correctly and the ingredients did match.

Did you try buying just one or two tablets in Bali since your last post?

On the other hand, why should I pay almost 200 K for 1 authentic 'V' when a good generic with the same ingredients can be had for half the price in the same apotek. Half of a 'Viajoy' does the trick for me.

Last but not least, a little shop called 'Apotek Bali Organic', right next to Julia's shop (Chloe), sells 'Ericfil' 100 mgr for just over 100 K per pop, no prescription fee and takes see / see.

Appreciate if any of the local experts could expand on this and / or point out 'street vendors' who are legit.

In general, I use my trusted friend and go-to 'pizza delivery gay'. He fetches the toppings I communicate and brings the pizza to my hotel (southern end of Sanur). My room is clean and cosy and A / see works a treat plus I have a big bathroom with rain drop shower and mirrors on the walls. In addition, I use the collected digits and get them to visit me.

Here I am after a long absence. Back again in my beloved Bali. The following reports are my recollection and my personal views and experiences. YMMV.

Another day I was walking along the upper section of Jl Tamblingan minding my own business and ticking items of my shopping list. Suddenly I heard somebody shouting what sounded like my name. So, I looked around. First, I couldn't spot anybody, then suddenly I saw a lady disappearing inside a shop. Naturally I went to find out more. Getting closer to the shop I realised it's a massage place. Went inside. And guess who did I spot in there? Yes, Julia – obviously, she has not gone to Java. Had a long chat and a cuddle and rekindled our acquaintances. According to her words, she now runs her own shop called Chloe. Going north it's past Randy's and on the other side of Jl Tamblingan.

Have done some RTFF and keeping an eye on Sanur Weekly. The indications are some bars along Danau Poso have closed or moved. The mongering scenes seem to be still on par and prices are about the same as 12 months ago.

I've just left Sanur and I don't think much if anything has changed.

Bars like " On On " and " The Place 2 b" still open and going strong at night with sexy dancers some nights.

Most of the night shift girls are gettable but not until their shifts end and usually they'll want 1 Million Rupiah.

I didn't bother visiting all the houses. Just stuck with Wayan at 11 X. Price 300 K (didn't ask just handed it over each time) , he's a decent guy and will try to get you whatever type of girl you're looking for. Tip the girl 50 or 100 K if happy.

Some thoughts on Bali pricing. I have been spending more time in Bali recently, and getting my head around the place and the pricing. I still have a lot to explore, so far have just used the dating apps to have girls come to me.

- Girl 1. Early 30 something single mother. Has a day job, looking for some extra money. When I asked how much, she said it was up to me and she would just follow along with whatever I did. I told her I would give her Rp500.000 and she was fine with that. I think these are my favorite kind of girls.
