There has been growth in Thailand, but income inequality is still vast, and most Thais earn not much more than the minimum wage, which is $10/ day, meaning $300/ mo. $200 goes a very, very long way here with ordinary people, albeit perhaps not with a small group of overpriced hookers. Compared to the minimum wage, offering $200 in Thailand is the exact equivalent of offering $1000 in the US. Not a life-changing amount, but not something many people would sneer at.

Thailand's GFE advantage is fairly close to slipping away. Just about 5-10 years ago, every second hooker was sweet (and cheap! These days, it's every 10th, and given the prices, those odds are no longer fun unless you're truly desperate for that Thai GFE hooker experience which was more or less the norm before.

Gogo bars are barely brothels with most girls masking a salary and drinks beónus and need only 1 or 2 customer short time per week.

In pattaya you either settle for average girls (who are still decent but the main reason to hire them is their personality) or you play the GoGo game of buy 10 drinks fight for scraps of japanese men. With respect to your comment about some Thais character, I could not agree with you anymore. Many Thai people as noted by others on this board and my opinion are racist, rude, and some men can be violent. They really don't welcome Farangs into their culture and embrace them even over time. If you get in a fight with a Thai man, be prepared to have many other Thai men jump in and help their fellow comrade beat the Farang, no matter if we are right or wrong. Also, lets not forget Lewis and Rosemary Owen from Wales, both grandparents in their 60's on vacation with their son who got beat up mercilessly by several Thais in Songkran because their son accidentally bumped into a Thai man causing him to spill a drink of beverage.

Statistics are almost useless. Just sum totals. Would include family in isaan with buffalo and metropolitan girl in Bangkok. You want to live USA quality off life then Thailand is more expensive.

I never stated I hate Pattaya, nor suggest that mongers should question coming here. In fact, I continue to rank it up there with Angeles City as my favorite places to monger and recommend it to all. I simply agree we all have choices and other top girls can be found in Pattaya or other countries without paying the high prices of these gogo bars. Now, lets just move on.

The problem is the GoGo bars themselves have rude out of control staff who are incredibly pushy and rude. Never seen anything this bad anywhere in the world. Just had a 2 k bill inc barfine shoved on my face. Like literally shoved. Thai people are horrible. I don't mind the price it's the poor service and thai violence I can't stand. Most racist country ever. Luckily Thai women are wonderful hookers.

I couldn't agree more with the above. Everybody has different tastes in girls. I see this all the time in my favorite Go Go's in BKK where different guys are very happy with girls I would not choose to do for free and vice a versa I am with girls that some other punters would consider no good because they have no butt, or meat on the bone. LOL.

So, my preference is for young, demure, pretty, Asian girls of mostly petite size although I occasionally go for taller girls when I am in a place like Macau. I have done some Asian girls in Europe and in America. All I can say is, it's not the same thing. It is not as good as doing them in Asia. Now if I preferred Latinas, I know I could save myself a hell of a lot of air travel time, not to mention expense, by going SA like I used to do in the 90's. I may go back to SA someday and revisit some of the hot spots, but not in 2018,2019, or anytime soon. LOL.

And ditto for guys that like Caucasian girls. If you like European girls then you are in luck. Go to or stay in Germany. Or I hear Greece is dirt cheap, but I wonder about the quality there. HA HA. Anyway, forget about LOS. You are not going to like it half as much as I do. And I have similar advice for guys that think all girls are fungible I. E. The same everywhere. There is no point to flying to BKK and paying Go Go or Soapy prices if one hole is as good as another to you. There are still some cheap destinations out here, but keep in mind, that prices are going up everywhere especially for good looking girls so better hurry and find your place.

Africa might be worth checking out for some punters. AC & Subic are still very affordable for many. And there are some out of the way destinations, like Mong La, Burma that might really pay off for guys that like to explore a little and get off the beaten track. I say, go for it, whatever your "it" is.

I wouldn't rule out Indonesia, there are some real stunners in Jakarta. I believe that the Philippines has some cuties as well, but I haven't spent enough time there to really know. Two extremely quick trips is all that I have managed.

That said, I do really like Thailand. Great food, stunning women, first class accommodation if you desire and it's pretty easy to get around Bangkok these days.

I really like Jakarta & Manila girls too. If it were only about the girls and all else were equal, I would spend more time in Jakarta and Manila than BKK, maybe. But it is not just about the girls. There is the overall ambiance of the destination, the level of safety, the infrastructure, living expenses, culture, food, transport, things to do other than mongering, ect ect. Taken on its whole, including girls and all the various venues (nightlife), I believe BKK/Pattaya is still the best place in Asia to recreate despite all the negatives and expense.

Personally, I would love to spend more time in Jakarta and Manila, because of the wonderful local girls, not the price benefits. Both Jakarta and Manila can be very expensive for quality girls. Unfortunately, I find 3 weeks at a time is all I can take of Jakarta or MNL before I get the strong urge to get out of Dodge. On the other hand, 6 weeks in BKK and I am still good for another 6 weeks. Why? Because as I said upfront, it is not only about the girls. There are great girls everywhere. HA HA. Well almost everywhere: BKK, Pat, MNL, CGK, Phnom Penh, AC, Sin, Macau, Shanghai, Vientiane, and Yangon. But I find BKK is one of the only large cities in Asia where I can be happy Long Time and remain relatively sane as long as I am able to make frequent short time excursions to other nearby locales and take a break. And there is no comparison between Pattaya and AC, its closest competitor. I would never choose to live in AC, although a week or 10 days there can be a lot of fun.

Other places that are cheaper like Phillipines or Indonesia, quality is not there, wasted trip, not to mention terrorism threats etc, Thailand is still place to go.

I wouldn't rule out Indonesia, there are some real stunners in Jakarta. I believe that the phillipines has some cuties as well, but I haven't spent enough time there to really know. Two extremely quick trips is all that I have managed.

That said, I do really like Thailand. Great food, stunning women, first class accommodation if you desire and it's pretty easy to get around Bangkok these days.
