Went to Sahara mall tonight to see what all the hoo-haa is about. The security guys at the entrance downstairs asked me for my ID. Felt like was entering an airport in this country.

Anyways made my way in and was thronged by a small army of 'ushers'promising everything from the best deal to heaven. Randomly selected one to help me get my bearings. He insisted that I go to Odyssey as apparently that's the best club in Gurgaon. So followed him up.

Was told that they have two different prices 500 and 1000. Per him the girls and ambience for 1000 is much better. It's upstairs. Walked in downstairs and was not entirely impressed so walked upstairs and my impression of the place did not change. There wasn't a girl I liked, maybe my absence from this country has made me a snob.

There were a few guys who obviously have had a bit too much to drink and showing everyone how not to dance. Swiftly turned around and made my way out. Gave the usher a tip for his time.
