My 2 cents.

CDC guidelines don't work in India, neither do those doses. We pop in cefalosporins as if they are candy. All hospitals start "prophylactic" antibiotics with piptaz or a 3rd gen iv cefalosporin. Doses we use are higher than what is needed are the west. We have been resorting to colistin and meropenem regularly in our setup and started to see resistance against that too. So basically we are screwed big time. And qouting cdc guidelines is no good in India.

Guys, sorry to barge in, but the whole purpose was where would get ARTs for PEP. Don't think every chemist has them. I can't walk into mine and ask for them. So pointers regarding those. Thanks roman.
