I'm a fan of setting up camp once. Hate packing and unpacking, and I try to limit the number of trips thru airports. I would start in Bogota, so much to see and do it could take a few days before you get the lay of the land. There are about 4 + Million women in Bogota so I think your talent pool is sufficient. LOL Cali is hot, and I don't like hot unless there's a beach nearby. Also speaking Spanish is a definite concern in Cali. Cartagena is hot, humid and I'm not a fan of the Ctg. Beaches. I have so many amazing women in Bogota that I have yet to get to Medellin but I have heard nothing but great things about it. The great thing about Colombia is if your not really feeling Bogota, you can get a very reasonable flight to any other city, even if you book it a day or so before. My choice would be Medellin as an alternate. Happy trails and be safe.

    Customs at El Dorado

El Dorado X-Rays every bag as your last step before you exit outside. I have brought in flat screen TV's, 2 Iphones, tablets and multiple chica gifts. There is usually some military and airport personnel stationed at the X-Ray but in dozens of trips thru El Dorado, no one has ever batted an eye at my stuff. I always bring my receipts with me because if they do stop me for taxes on the stuff, at least I'll pay tax on the USA Prices. I wouldn't worry about it.

Same deal in Bogota. They x-ray after you're done with immigration and hand your customs form over to the customs officer. No idea what they'd do to electronics.

BTW, this stuff is pre-scanned as well. Not sure what the system is to tag you if you have something suspicious. But a bunch of tablets / phones should be fine. Put them in your carry-on if you want.

They do x-ray at Eldorado as you leave.

I have been researching El Dorado Airport's regulations for 2 days, and I can not find anything definitive. I'm not surprised as Bogota & it's airport seem to be going thru a lot of changes right now, but I can't even find how much I would be taxed for any excessive phone or tablet.

Well here's my deal. I'm going to bring in 2 Ipad's & 3 phones; 1 Ipad & 2 phones are my personal items, the remaining Ipad & phone will be chica capital. I plan to pack the 2 Ipads (both 9.7 inch screens) in my carry-on luggage, and pack the 3 phones on my person. I'm confident I will get the phones through the arrival checkpoint. My luggage will have to go through the x-ray machine, and they will see 2 tablets. If questioned, I can just say one is for my personal use, and the other is for work?

**I believe it is fairly common for people to travel with multiple devices, I. E. Laptop, tablet and a phone or two?

**I guess worse case is I pay a tax on the tablet and / or phone?

On my next trip to Bogota, I will be arriving with a personal tablet & two phones. I would like to bring in at least one additional phone & one additional tablet, or 5-6 devices total. I figure I can put two of the phones on my person, and put 3-4 devices in my luggage (hopefully). I know that Airport Security requires all luggage be scanned including personal items like purses, etc, but they are much more lax about any pat downs on the body. I'm wondering at what point they say too many and require you pay taxes on them.

*I want to bring in these extra 2-3 devices as barter chips for my lady friends. With black Friday here, there are several devices I can buy cheap and double my money with in "chica capital". I just need to get them into Bogota.

I never was in Colombia before and always wanted to go. I prefer to stay at the new places longer than a few days so I could really understand it.

Ditto that comment, with all the chicas I wonder why us guys were not designed with 5 dicks, but after consideration even if we had 5 dicks I would be posting the thought of why we were not created with 10 dicks, jejejejeje.

    TTM.

Everyone has his opinion. You may take 1 day in Bogota if it is a convenient travel connection for you, then split the rest between Cartagena and Medellin. No Cali for you yet on your first trip.
