As we all know, even with TT not all have the same exchange rates. Try staying away from tourist areas like Walking Street, LK Metro, Central Festival, etc.

I'd hit Patpong over Nana or Cowboy. The girls are friendly like they are in Pattaya and the ladyboys are kept to their own bars.

I'll get flack from the penny pinchers on here but 5000 is definitely not enough of a budget for 1 day, especially if you want to pick up a top gogo girl in Pattaya. 3 or 4 ladydrinks at 200-240 baht each to make sure she's the one you want, most barfines now at 2000 (Thanks Mr. Korea and Mr. Japan), 3000 short time and 5000 long time. I've read on here some being quoted even higher prices.

Spot on BB. WS prices are high although I have taken some regulars from Sapphire and give them 4 K for the whole nigh until midday. Maybe because I am a regular customer with them. LK has cheaper options and again I take some regular girls all night from the gogos and it is about 3 k.

G clubs can be good also but the Soi 6 option is good value. Can pop three girls in a day and drink a little and get away with under 5 k. All of this depends on what your tastes and budget are.

I must say, the last time you showed me the ropes you took me to gogo with stunning girls but the prices were high. That said, the girls were something and when I am there next time I will pop in and see what is on offer. May well try one then.

This year, I made my first trip to Thailand. I spent there 1 month. Unfortunately, I didn't know much about places worth to visit. Now, when I 'educate myself' about 'Thai market' I find out, I made many of amateur mistakes during my trip, for example:

1. I paid to much for the service:

- each time I went to massage salon (with happy end), I paid 1000 THB at start (for massage) and extra 1000 THB for blowjob and another extra 1000 THB for short time- 3000 THB in total.

- once I listened to taxi driver who offered me to drive to company with girls to bring girl to my hotel, it supposed to be 2500 BHT for all night. In the end I paid (good looking girl but not the top) 3000 BHT in the company and in my hotel girl said. Taxi driver lied to me. This 3000 BHT was for short time. Not for long time. So I paid her 2000 BHT extra to stay till the morning. In the end I paid 5000 BHT for long time with cute, good looking girl, but not a porn star.

2. I ' liked ' first girl that I met there and spent with her all of my travel (the girl from company that I paid 5000 THB) . Good thing is I had sex for free till the end of my travel. Bad thing is, I should enjoy my travel with many different girls, not stay with just one, girl put her charm on me and I forgot what was my goal to come there (have fun with many girls around) .

So, I made simple mistakes of 'newbie ' in Thailand. I ' lost my head ' to first good looking, charmy girl that I met there and I overpaid for a service anywhere I went to.

Now, I'm planning my second trip, I ' educate myself ' looking for places worth to visit.

I can spend there only 1 month in 1 year. So next time I don't want to lose my time there. Don't want to stay with just 1 girl and don't want to pick up just avarege girls.

Bamboo is on Pattaya Tai right before the entrance of Walking Street. It is pretty much older women. I would say 35 and up. The waiters literally chase you around and hound you to buy drinks. Once I bought a club soda and the ice in the glass finished while I still had half bottle of soda. I ask for more ice and lime and they refused. At first I thought they were joking. Turned out they were dead serious. I said I would never set foot in that place again.

Wow! How does a place like that survive?

My experience with beer bars is largely on 2nd Road near Central F and also across Mike s mall. And I tried several and they were all great from a customer service. Girls? Not so much. But, but got lucky once with 2 visitor girls, freelancers while trying my hand at pool (I suck) and one of them worked at a legit massage place. She was hot. And another time with a tiny weenie box bar with 2 girls and one good one a cousin of the owner lady and she was visiting from another town. Sum total of.

My luck with beer bars after total time I put in of about 15 hours over 3-4 different days. IMO, it's all pure luck, coincidence, timing etc. But best to go real early or after 12 when freelancers arrive to unwind after their regular jobs and you buy them drinks and play pool etc. But my experience inventory is small and not a valid statistical sample size.

Man these prices are high. Contrast this with my favourite bar. The Bamboo Bar. It's full of freelancers and cost is Barfine zero, ST 1000 and LT 2000. Never had problems with the girls and I see many on a regular basis.

I hear you man, but if showing a wad of bills can magically open the doors to Peppermint, Bacarra and Sensations it seems a bit far fetched. If spending is an issue they should have simply asked us to buy the mandatory drinks at entrance like CH and peppered us for LDs which we also obliged. Same at Windmill. Win win scenario for both sides. No need for micro and macro economics to understand this, it's just common sense.

Instead an outright ban means exactly the opposite that regardless of your intention or means to spend you are not welcome.

May be I am naive, no loss in trying your suggestion anyways. Always looking for a different perspective. Will share the result.

2. They can't look at you and then reconcile a real American accent. Cognitive dissonance. Education and background of guys at a Go Go door. Not same as yours ! That's naive

3. Thai govt is not going to change visa on arrival decision based on how much a guy spends on a Pattaya trip vs businessmen or the lots of Indian weddings taking place in Thailand. The numbers man. ! You have got to know the numbers and stats and economy impact! I thought you were smart ? Money involved in Pattaya vs export / import and cross border flows and investment in all of Thailand is dollars vs nickels . You are stuck in the trees and can't see the forest. Don't take a job in macroeconomics! Or investment banking !

IMO, the discrimination is caused by the bars being totally packed, and the Thai's belief in their racist stereotypism of Indians. White people are not discriminated by the bar for entry purposes. The girl's preferences in customer types might be a different story.

Better to not get in rather than be shunned by a bunch of girls who don't want you there. I know a couple of my girls who's face cringe whenever they see a black man or Indian man walk into a gogo bar. Girls have chosen their location of employment based on the clientele. On Walking Street, farang are preferred at the Windmill group, Sapphire, Skyfall, Iron, Taboo, Bliss, Mandarin, Living Dolls, Angelwitch, Crazy House. Farang are also preferred at all LK Metro gogo bars except maybe Ninja.

Can someone please suggest some good soapies out there?

Honey 2, Sabai Dee, Sabai Room, and Rasputin are all about a 5 minute walk from one another. Rasputin has Russian girls but be ready to pay through the nose and get even more lame mechanical service than a Thai girl.

Thanks BananaBoi. We were a group of 5. But, as I mentioned earlier, we were dressed to impress (shoes and shirts, LOL). Ah well, we tried.

Why not go in as a group of 2, then have another 2 come in after. In the meantime, they can scout another bar which may be better.

Discrimination against Indians and other dark-skinned South Asians is well covered as it relates to the clubs. Another layer is that many of the best girls don't want to go with Indian customers because of either bad prior experiences (probably just a few bad apples) or heard rumors from their friends. I found out most of this relates to the belief that they smell bad, no matter how many showers they take. Why take the risk and lose face with among their friends when there is always another Japanese customer waiting.

Anyone who has been in Pattaya long enough has seen this. 2 Indian men riding home on the baht bus with one Indian man saying how he is going to fuck the Thai girl good after his buddy. The girls always look at me to save her.

Personally I've never had an issue getting an Indian man into any gogo bar when they are with me.

The bell ringing and all the girls are tapping on everything they could. It was really LOUD and the girls were dead serious going about it. What exactly are their trying to do? Later when I asked my barfine she said it was a lucky prayer being performed for a good nights business and they do it daily in the earlier part of the night.

This happens every night at every gogo bar.

A new negative bias I uncovered is that many of the girls now absolutely hate Korean men from Korea. Apparently they have a reputation of (1) refusing to pay if they don't finish but go over an agreed ST limit, and (2) are very rough in bed with excessive hair-pulling, spanking, etc. This view was confirmed by several girls across GoGos, soapies, Thermae, and clubs.

Fantastic news. Let's get those Koreans out of here!

I understand there are different strokes for different folks, but I am not understanding the "premium" title put on chicks with her description. To me it was just like fucking any other chick, but probably worse because of those hard bones that are banging against you in certain places.
