    Late night street bars closed?

Coming to Bangkok after a couple of years away and I've been reading some of online guides to Bangkok nightlife. They have said that in early 2017 all the late night street bars and food stalls have been closed down? Great shame if so, used to enjoy those places on walk home from Nana to the hotel if no girls were appealing or I was too tired from exploits earlier in the day.

Anything replaced the bars, are there any late night places on walk between Nana and Soi 4?

There is a place in Singapore, in Geylang, that specialized in the Red Rope.

But not all girls do it well.

I think the whole disagreement can be explained by different people remembering different dates. As Betong said, originally there was minimal Middle Eastern presence and that grew. In 1991 (my first visit) I did not really think the place was unsuitable for me, except from point of view that too many girls were not skinny enough. My Farang buddy still loved the Grace at that time.

In 1991 it seemed that the Grace and the Thermae were considered the big 2 coffee shops by some groups of Farangs

From the time I first went, in 1979, though the early 1980's, the coffeeshop there catered almost entirely to farang. Not surprising, as there were few Middle Eastern tourists to Thailand then. I don't remember exactly when they started appearing in number but I do recall walking into the Grace one time, maybe late '80's or early '90's and being shocked at how totally the place had changed. Anyhow the place was great fun back then, bigger and livelier than the Thermae. Along with Safari on Patpong in the early '90's and Five Star in Soi Cowboy in the late '90's it still ranks among my favorite Bangkok nightspots ever.
Appearing in number and being exclusively Middle Eastern, would seem to be two different things. A few of us that did go to the Grace almost 30 ears ago were not Middle Eastern and did not experience Middle Eastern problems.

When you reach VoA area, there is a separate window / section towards the left hand side where express processing service is provided. Usually, there is also staff available there to assist you. All you have to do is ask. Even otherwise, there are signs placed to guide you. Hope this helps. Any other query, feel free to ask. Enjoy.

This has happened to a number of people recently.

    Fast processing.

    Hi

I have UK passport so on arrival at immigration I get 30 day visa stamped in my passport but this time my partner will come with me but she has an Indian passport. Will she have to go to visa on arrival? Does it take long to get visa on arrival and what documents will they ask for and how long will she get on her visa? I know it is a lot to ask but if anyone with Indian passport has experience I would really appreciate any help.

    Thank you.

    Wechat

    Thanks.
What the others say about Wechat is correct. It is a free downloadable app for your iOS or Android device. It uses cellular data or WiFi to communicate.

I've used it two different ways. First, when I meet someone they will give me their Wechat ID and then we can communicate worldwide (text, voice messages, video chat). Second, using the "Discover-People Nearby" option, you can find girls who are within about 20 km of you. I don't understand how, but, I have found girls in China through people nearby while I was in USA; apparently there is a way to set your location to something other than your actual location.

Wechat is very popular in many parts of Asia, especially China. Very little use in USA.

In densely populated parts of Asia, people nearby will find too many girls to consider, often they are professionals (e.g., Sukhumvit Soi 11). I don't think it goes as far as 20 km in those situations. In less densely populated portions of USA, you will find zero girls within the 20 km range.

I've twice had success finding non-P4P girls in both USA and Thailand. While in Sukhumvit area, many P4P girls have messaged me through people nearby (keep your people nearby active, if you want this).

Wechat also has "shake" and "message in a bottle", which conceptually could be used to find someone. They have been useless for me.
