On the fourth anniversary of the Chang Ping crackdown I will take this opportunity to express my sadness for the end of one of the best mongering destinations I have had. I have some really fantastic memories of hobbying in CP.

However, there is another type of memorable session I have had in this town which was my most memorable non session ever. It was in the catacombs in 2010 in what was I am certain the last mongering encounter in that part of town. It was one extremely rainy night; I sauntered across there and looked for a provider, the place was desolate and was about to leave when I spied one solitary woman. Went up to her and agreed to a 20 minute session for if I recall correctly for 30 RMB. She led me to a 'hut', inside flooded with water about a foot high and totally dark. Went straight on to the bed with clothes and shoes. Got undressed but the girl pulled her dress up to her upper body. Try as I may I could not get hard and after 20 minutes could not penetrate. She ended the session, I got dressed and complained about non action in English which she obviously did not understand but was aware that it was a complaint. Whereupon she returned my money to me. Upon exiting the 'hut' I returned the money to her and she went her way and I mine.

It rained that entire night and the next day CP was flooded. The rain cleared during the day and that night I returned to the catacombs and the place was flooded with police. The catacombs was totally closed down never to be used for hobbying again.

600,000 other workers associated with the sex industry out of work or suffering serious loss of income (club staff, hairdressers, manicurists, taxi drivers etc etc).

50 billion yuan*of the local*economy lost.

Liang Yaohui deputy in the National People Congress (and owner of Crown Prince Hotel) arrested.

9 police officers in criminal detention, 13 facing disciplinary action, 14 under investigation.

Dongguan Deputy Mayor and Head of the local PSB, Yan Xiaokang, sacked.

Dongguan mayor claiming he "didn't know the problem was so bad".

865 arrests.

541 pimps smacked.

62 criminal rings busted.

854 pornographic websites closed.

I was at CP a few weeks ago for a 2 nights many business are closed even on a Saturday night not many people like the past, yes flower st is back but the line up is poor many Hong Kong monger have not return, there are still mamasan offer 30 yr old for 200 rmb st and you can get a HJ and a poor massage for about 168 rmb don't think cp will return back to old day soon.

I have not been back after the crack down but I think the concept won't work anymore.

At its peak each KTV is CP must have hundreds of girls. The key to support the industry is base number. It was the punting ground that everyone wants to be.
