There is no Spanish in Brazil; so I recommend Colombia. I really like Cartagena!

Although Portuguese is the official language many people do speak Spanish also. Mainly because all the surrounding countries are Spanish speaking. Spanish is a good language to learn.

Bellamar use to be the old Sosua Bay Resorts. Bellamar and Victoria House are the worst hotels in Sosua! The water pressure is bad and cold, the wifi sucks, and they are not forthright about booking. Go online and find many different sites quote different prices. Security is horrible. I had taxis and girls come knocking on my room door as if someone told them my room. Another guest had a security guard enter their room at 1 am. He thought the room was empty so he could hide and sleep. As for linen and towels, they are always late and are not done during room cleaning. They try to sell the property because of the location, but you are better at another hotel. As for the manager, she is never there. You always have to deal with a smart as desk person. There are other hotels in Sosua that have invested money in renovations. This hotel and furniture is outdated, and their is a long walk from the front dest to the rooms. They charge between $65 to $75 a night, but for that price you can stay somewhere more accommodating. I topped referring friends to Bellamar and Victoria House.

On my first visit to Sosua my 2 brothers and me stayed at the Sosua Bay Hotel as it was known in 2009 we also bought into the time share. The place was very nice with five star dining, snacks 24/7, nightly shows in the open air theater, it was really nice. An Italian dude owned it at the time and subsequently was run out of town for who knows what. We used to enter with the ladies on the "beach walk" side (opposite end of the property from Victoria House) kept the girls out of sight from the regulars family tourist thing and out of the main lobby. When the Italian owner left things stared heading south. It became the Hotel Azul and now I guess the Bellamar. SAVE YOUR MONEY! There are better places to stay in Sosua. I personally got burned pretty good all the way around and will not stay again time share or not.

ORIGINALLY I WAS HEADING TO RIO, BUT FOR A FIRST TIME MONGER TRIP DECIDED SOSUA WOULD BE WISER CHOICE.

After a 6 hours delay on my flight I finally arrived in Sosua, wanted a drink somewhere near my hotel so ended up in Sondabar, lots of street rats walking past tying too hard to get my attention. My first mistake. I saw this rat with an ass and a smile that got me, I was horny so ended up inviting her over, agreed everything and headed back she did everything that was agreed but was rushing trying to get me to nut because she wanted to get back out on the strip to get another customer. Don't let the testosterone hornyness take over your brain!! And don't get desperate and choose the first chica you see!!

The next few days were a combo of Merengue then Classicos. I tried Classicos once and stopped going there, not my type of place. See an older light skin chica in Merengue she's around 32 but curvy thick.

Details agreed and we head back, she was cool and did everything agreed but had a caeserean scar and a belly with titties that sagged, Look out for spanx or belts that hold the gut in and push the.

Very impressive sir! This is my second post in the forum in over 10 years lurking. I will be on my second trip (first time solo) to the Sue from 3rd to 10th. I fly in to Cibao and then pick my rental at Nelly's. I will follow up with a report when I return, hopefully without battle scars. My Spanish is non existent but from reading this forum and nauseam, I should be good.

P.S: Last time I had a wingman from the army who spoke Spanish so he was my guide so to speak, I want to visit some sites, any recommendations?

Next time you may avoid the late night Meringue / Classico / Casino desperate and sweaty chica hustle, and settle in to a more controlled game. More head, less dick approach.

Great report. Seems you handled everything like a pro. The good thing about Sosua is that everything is there in your face and it is point and click. The bad thing is all the bullshit games that you will encounter. The bad thing about Rio for a first time guy is that it is not as point and click anymore. You have to know where to go. The good thing (as you can tell from reading the Rio thread) is that you will not get the bullshit games. It is like chicks there have a reputation to protect and they come at you with their finest performance to win you over as a customer. Also, Brazilians are not ashamed of their bodies. You will see a lady as big as a house at the beach with a bikini on or Fat Albert wearing a sunga (speedo type swimwear.) What you see is what you get there. Also, cameras used to be welcomed with open arms in Rio...Blast it from the past

I tried most spots for food in Sosua and on the beach but found Baileys and Terra Linda to be the best, didn't get the hype on Bourbon street or Sinatras. If you get bored in the daytime or bored of fucking and want a change of scenery then head to the waterfalls, PP or Cabarete. The waterfalls is an all day trip once you factor in travel to and from, and is worth doing but is tiring so beware of burnout. Hit up Cabarete one night and saw many dudes from Sosua there with chicas eating at restaurants. Completely different vibe than Sosua, many nice restaurants and more European crowd.

The Malecon in PP was always a blur to me as I would drive past it on my way to La Serena! I spent a day there yesterday!

For those who don't know, the Cosita Rica Playa is a really pleasant and shady place to spend a relatively quiet day. The Cosita Rica Beach Restaurant will treat you like a king and get you everything you might need and the whole fish lunch is really to die for! Not dirt cheap, but great value for money!

This area (and Constambar) has replaced Sosua and Cabarete as my favorite place to take a good friend, and spend a day.

A great break from sport fucking. Check it out!
