Posts: 1406Renting cars. Just show me the math; it's cost prohibitive at best, lease, insurance, gasoline and parking will run $100 a day. Yes, there are thrills but also massive headaches. Just chill, and $100 goes far at FB or at a take-out.

Posts: 502I just like malls for picking up chicks, like it in the US too. Generally girls working stores are attractive and they don't get paid much so I start with the upper hand. I'm not a huge fan of the heat, I'm an AC guy. I've always liked the malls for daytime action unless I'm in a place like San Jose that has good daytime action too. Also I like to shop, so I'm covered with no loss time. I will let you know how the malls work out. Although at this point I'm chatting up more American chicks visiting DR on tinder than the actual locals so I might end up hooking up with summer breakers until Sosua. Thanks for the info.

Blue Mall on a Sunday night in food court is popping with chicks. You can be baby from cash money and pop. A lot of you are out of touch Dem Bow and Cardi be is what is popping with the young chicks now. You do not know that because you do not go to the hot clubs. The problem most of you are older and to afraid to rent cars and move around. That is what it takes to really pop in Santo Domingo. You have to rent a car and move around and move like a boss. The Capital is the worse place to find chicks, but none of you all rent cars so that is all you know. If you get out and move around on a Sunday and you speak Spanish you can kill it. Big boys do big things and Santo Domingo is a big boy town you afraid to do it the right way that is all on you. When is the last time any of you went to eurphoria or jet set? No worries do you, but advice on here is not matching what is really popping in Santo Domingo.

Posts: 4101There are many more than 7 malls in Santo Domingo alone. A few not mentioned: Downtown Mall, Megacentro, Plaza Central, Diamond, Bella Vista, Agora, Acropolis. There, that's 7.
I don't really understand what is special about malls. If the goal is pick up girls from random encounters I think there would be better odds at transportation hubs like Parque Enriquillo, Luperón parada, or Duarte con Paris. The transfer station between the two metro lines would be a lot more comfortable with shelter from the searing sun.
To help us understand what's behind the question, can the original poster explain why you wouldn't just get a comfortable shady seat out on the Conde and take your pick of passing girls? Some girls are with their families for shopping like someone else explained about the malls. Others are with girlfriends and looking to be picked up for money. Still others are on the way to and from language or art classes or their jobs at restaurants and banks.
So, take this advice or go find out for yourself. Either way, let us know how you make out.

And when Dominicans go to the mall they are going to either buy something or go to the movies. It is not a social event as in Philippines when you see tons of people just walking through the mall with no bags every weekend. I have never heard a Dominican person say they were just going to go hang out at a mall. Shit. Half of them would not even have money for transportation to get there anyway. And someone correct me if I am wrong, but there aren't but like 7 malls in the entire country anyway. Sambil, Agora, Bella Vista, and Megacentro in Santo Domingo. Las Colinas and another mall in Santiago. And there is the small Multiplaza in Higuey.

Girls are not sitting in malls waiting for tourist to pick them up. If you are young a brad Pitt look a like you have a shot but hell that works in the states to. Any mall you go to will have girls walking around shopping, Dominican women are very friendly. If your spanish is real good you can have a conversation and after several dates she might let you have sexjust like in the states.

Posts: 502Is there any mall that is better for picking up girls than the others? Trying to kill two birds with one stone and meet a girl at mall but also have the option to expand my selection at the mall. Fun times.
