Hi bro,

I have not come across such a place selling pre-activated SIM cards in Delhi and around. However, it may still be possible in some small towns, as I had once bought a sim card without any document in a small town in Himachal. (I had actually forgotten to take the ID). He gave me the card and told me that I can give the ID later. But since I came back to Delhi next day, I couldn't give him the ID. But the SIM card did not stop working for quiet a long time (after which I stopped using it.). Currently I have a separate phone for mongering purpose only. (With SIM in my name only! It is usually switched off. Used only when needed. I don't see any other option!

Hi brother,

You have posted a very good FR buddy, but I would like to caution you on few things, just small things.

I don't think its possible. Best you can try is having a virtual credit card. This is available through net banking portals of many banks in India. (of course, you need a banking account with the bank for this.) These can be loaded with required maximum amount. However, I tried one such card to buy subscription here on this site, but it did not work. (So had to use my regular credit card.) So for virtual cards, YMMV website to website.

If you want safety while using credit cards online, one option may be having HDFC bank's Netsafe cards, these are limited validity one time usage virtual credit cards which may be used in the Internet.
