Great site and info. Thanks to my job I have visited BA many times. I'm actually about to visit very soon and from my investigations I can confidently say that if you are traveling with dollars just don't you even think to but local currency in any official agency.

Actually I will not change them at all, apparently local girls are taking them like pure gold.

The hotel is situated in Estrella, between Av. Colon and Montevideo, in Asunciand, has 69 rooms, WiFi / TV, AC, refrigerator, there are rooms with balcon too. Actually price for single breakfast 20.000 GS.

I went to Asuncion last week for a business trip but a monger will always find a way to get out and experience the local cuisine. First off, there are no American style titty clubs. The only places similar to a titty club are these residencies that they use to play music and dance for customers. A friend took me to one and we were asked to sit in a room in the front of the house. 200,000 for two chicas to dance for you for 10 minutes. If you wanted to get full service, it would cost 300,000 each for 30 minutes. We chose two of the slimmest out of the five presented. Thanks for that link! Hadn't seen that one before. Why would it be dangerous to go to independents place? Indi girls are all the rage now in Asuncion and I hadn't heard any problems on the local board.
