It works just fine in my iPhone, and yes it is only data. New countries are added all the time, and I assure you Colombia is on the list as this is the exact card I'm using. It has also worked fine in Hong Kong, USA, Canada, and Panama. The link you gave is the one month version of the same product, which I'm sure works fine, but the 12-month version is like having an unlimited world SIM in your pocket for a year. One year 12 GB is $50 data only. Your link, 30 days 12 GB is $30. If you need that much data per month then the $30 is cheaper. If you use about 1 GB / week traveling like I do, then the one year is awesome. I keep a backup handy too, never know when a Europe trip is going to pop up, and $3/ GB is cheaper than just about any local SIM I've ever used.

It also receives SMS's as I've used the number to activate various services that require a number.

This is my first time posting here at ISG. A should out to all the contributors and excellent reports by so many guys. An Indian guy living for the past decade in the states and planning a trip to Colombia for the first time. Previous mongering experiences include Philippines, Thailand, Tijuana multiple times. Never been to DR or any Latin American destinations.

My trip is coming up in 3 weeks:

My budget is usd1500 for 10 day trip for food and girls. I plan on about 2 one hour sessions per day. Is this reasonable expectations. I am only seeking strip clubs, casas, massage and street girls. If I have difficulty scoring, I may go with prepagos internet.

Since this is my first trip should I make a pit stop for a few days in Bogota? Routard trip report is too irresistible and makes it seem doable for a newbie like me.

I plan to stay in M1 for the first 2 nights and then pick one of the suggested hotels in the lists in El Centro for 7-8 days. Nada Spanish Zilch. The difficulties I would face picking up girls, speaking with uber or exchanging money or ordering food through domicilios or any of the normal things we do in day to day activities are things that I am prepared to face but. I don't think there is a Juan Valdez coffee shop on the first floor (arrivals area). There is one on the second floor. I've walked from the domestic area to the international area on the first floor only one time, and I don't remember any place that has seating.

Can anyone think of a particular spot? For example. There are benches or seats off to the _ side or a cafe / restaurant named _.

Best place in my opinion would be to go out the airport and walk directly (a few traffic lanes) of across to the shopping and food court area. There, in air conditioned and less hectic space and on the second floor you can look across to the baggage area and have Wi-Fi. The second person merely goes to baggage claim walks out the door and across the way into the windows where the food court is. Coffee etc and is where if needed you can buy si, card.

The international and domestic arrival areas are on opposite ends of the terminal. I suggest you and your friend plan to meet outside the baggage claim area of one of the two.

Whether or not you will be disappointed depends on where you find the working girls. If you go downtown and find some of the more homely ones or the glue / paint sniffers, you may get what you want. If you get the more attractive, up scale ladies from FB and the dating sites, you will have very little success satisfying your fascination.

But, my experience after visiting Bogota recently and Medellin a while back is that the girls working the casas have the most limited range of services, out of the six countries I've visited for punting. If your kinks are your priority, consider a different destination.

Added both on Facebook yesterday and experienced the opposite.

Xime was straight forward and her sister tried to rip me off.

Knew straight away she was bullshitting me, asking me how long I was going to be there, my job etc.

She then said she was in a financial situation and wanted to charge me $400 LOL.

I laughed and said no, she said how much you want. I said I would have gave you 200 but changed my mind now. She quickly backed down but I told her to forget it.

Can anyone please recommend a can't miss place for one of us to sit until the other arrives. It is a toss up who will be ready first with a half hour extra available for passport control.
