First of all, thanks to Malecious01 for sharing the contact.

Got in touch with Ms A and fixed meeting for early evening. She offered 3-some and I opted for the same.

Valid points:

1. Genuineness of the number will be controlled by admins. No number addition will be approved just bcos a user has input it into the app. How to monitor that & validate authencity? Will have to build a logic for that. Top of mind I see a reference model (for eg: the senior members in this group would have major contacts. They could validate). Also, with ratings / reviews mentioning fakeness, it would be highlighted very easily. Then it comes down to the user trusting the authenticity of the app.

2. Bulk purchase is obviously a scam. A monthly / yearly subscription is what I was thinking of.

3. LE action. Shouldn't be applicable as no transaction would happen here. It would be a purely a database with a scoring system. Playing around the words & not mentioning any controversial words like SP / independent etc would help.

Nwz, all of this is just a thought right now. Wanted to guage the interest first on a service like this.

Agreed. So there will have to be checks & balances in place while entering data. Admin managing new numbers being entered, history of users who are sharing feedback etc. Just trying to understand if this is a problem which only I face or do others face too. Seems like people would value this.
