Christmas Eve and Christmas day are difficult. I only had 2 girls hit me up to see if I was interested on those days. Things were pretty slow around Parque Lleras on those days as well. 2. About 40% will respond to your message. If they're super enthusiastic and immediately agree right off the bat then you've struck prepago gold and can safely move on to step 5. Otherwise, make some small talk (How are you, I like your photos, you seem fun, etc.) and maybe tell them a little about yourself to put them at ease.

3. Close out the conversation by saying how you think we could have a good time together.

4. If they respond positively, tell them you'll message them again when you arrive. If they're not interested then they'll probably just ghost you at this point. A few will play dumb and ask what you mean, in which case it's time to say explicitly that you want to sleep with them. You may think this is crass but you're here for booty, not to make friends.

5. Once in Medellin or wherever message them again asking if they'd like to come to your apartment or hotel at a certain time.

6. If they're willing to come to a stranger's apartment "for a good time" then you're 99% certain at this point that they're doing it for money. This is when I make my usual pitch of 150 mil for an hour plus bbj. I've had counter offers, and some girls refuse to bbj, but I've never had anyone get mad or insulted. I've done a post-Christmas / New Year's trip, twice. MDE then CTG and CTG then MDE. I would recommend going to CTG for the week after Christmas, as it becomes a holiday destination for Colombians and WGs, alike. Then, as MDE picks back up, take a cheap flight. Caveat being, CTG is more expensive, in general, and even more so during high-season / holidays. I prefer having a beer by the Clock Tower (CTG) and people-watching, during slow times, over scouring FB or hopping empty bar to empty bar in MDE, during Finca week. CTG is, essentially, more concentrated for a first-timer or newbie, at that time of year. I prefer MDE, but that week is unique, in my opinion.

Just ask them about work. If they have no job, or a simple service type job (waitress, retail, etc.) you're probably golden. If they work for a large bank, physician's office, or have a successful family business, for examples, you might want to look elsewhere.

What's so confusing? The first night you paid her enough for 2 nights and the 2nd night you gave her enough money for a taxi to fly to Cartagena. Of course she's going to contact you every day. You're bleeding money and she wants to be around to soak it up.

Here is an overview my impression of the casa scene in centro.

New Life. Seems to be crawling with gringos. Lots of girls but (for my taste) way too many gringos.

Zandalay. Good rooms, decent atmosphere and good girls.

Chicas punto com. Big selection. Always 1 or two worth the visit. Rooms not great.

Dulce Compania. Not a great selection when I went.

No Sir, sorry. Definitely not. Given the fact, that the 1st (Tue) and the 7th (Mon) are holidays, the business will go back to normal after the 8th of January. But then the girls are in real need of support, hence highly motivated.
