That video starts at Calle 51 and Cra 53. The area from Calle 51 to 53 between Cra 51 and 54 should encompass the complete RLD. Calle 53 is also known as Av DeGrieff. The Veracruz area is Calle 53 from Cra 51 to 52. The RLD is downtown. It is within walking distance to most of the downtown casas.

Almost all the working chicas in Medellin are independents. It a good ideal to survey your surrounding at all times. There should not be a problem taking the chicas to a room because the room is in a hotel, not in someone's house.

There are many love hotels in and around Medellin.

Many Medellin residents have told me to not be downtown after dark. I take their advice and I'm not there walking the streets after dark. There are too many other options to take that risk. There are no reasons that better chicas come out after dark in the downtown area.

Thanks again for your help! I can see a small section between Cra 53 and 54 on Calle 51, but this ends at the end of the block. I don't see any other street action there. Calle 53 (Avenida De Grieff) seems to be a large Boulevard alongside a park, or am I doing something wrong?

Would you say that the Medellin RLD is safer than the one in Bogota? It certainly looks less seedy and it's just on the doorstep of the downtown and an area full of shops/cafes etc.

I think I would like to stay in downtown, same logic as Mr Enternational. Are there lots of Casas in the downtown? Do love hotels exist in Medellin, if I want to meet a prepagado, but not at my place ?

If, by chance, you have a local friend who has the same friend as you, you will probably be exposed to your friend. They do a cross check and post "People you may know" in the friend's timeline. Do not have another gringo as a friend in your monger account. That is how many people get exposed.

OK, sounds like I have nothing to worry about, then. Thanks very much. I guess I overestimated facebook's technology. I do not consider my self an overly paranoid person. Just had the wrong idea about facebook! I'm pretty sure I'll go to Medellin for my next trip. Many months away from now. I studied Spanish for 3 months on the computer for my recent trip to Dominican Republic. Got the basics down. I plan to put in more study time throughout the year to up my skills for Colombia!

Sorry, this is a real noob question. I would like to set up a facebook account to meet girls ahead of time in Medellin. But I have never done facebook before. I don't even have a legit facebook account for myself. I think I can figure out the part about setting up an alias e-mail and opening the account. My question is if I post photos of myself, will my friends and family members be directed to my monger account because facebook has facial recognition and tags me? Do I need to take any precautions to keep anyone I know from figuring out I have a facebook page dedicated to trying to meet girls in a foreign country? Thanks.

Tried Energy on Friday evening, did not like the lineup or the ambiance. Walked away. The place is not that easy to find, and there is no "energy" sign outside.

So overall Medellin experience average / below. Both girls and service were not upto my expectations, and language is overall an issue.

1. Casas, salas de citas. Do not have signs, they look like any nondescript office or apartment. 2. Evenings are the worst time to visit them. Late morning or early afternoon. 3. Gems are not typically found in the well-known, higher profile casas like Energy. They are high volume girls, typically "operadas" (surgically remastered, robotic chicas) Patience, walking shoes, and dig a little deeper. 4. Yes its a spanish speaking society, any travelog book at your local library will say so.

That would be a crazy rule. Means you would never go anywhere. The area scares people like SBT because there are some homeless people and drug addicts. They don't bother you though. One time I took my young cousin and his friend down to Medellin. On the first night we came in at 2 am. The next day they said they had walked back down to DeGrieff to fuck some more hoes at 4 am. They are still living and breathing and living normal lives.

There are various options for areas and types of places to stay. However, there is no best option. It depends on your preferences and and how much you want to spend.

Exactly. One of my main wingmen prefers to get a $50 condo in Poblado/Lleras, while I prefer my $13 hotel downtown. Most of my time is spent downtown, so I don't want to be traveling back and forth when I can walk outside the door and already be there. Plus I'm really only in the room to sleep. I have only been to Poblado/Lleras 2 times.

Hi there, I'll be coming to Colombia for the first time in January for at least 3 weeks, plan to hit Bogota and Medellin at least. I speak pretty good Spanish and have mongered a lot in Europe, the DR and Argentina, however all I know about Colombia is what have read and seen online. I've read back many pages here, but still have to ask some annoying newbie questions....

I know it's tedious, but I suggest you take a little time and go back a few months on this list. You will find the answers you're looking for. There are various options for areas and types of places to stay. However, there is no best option. It depends on your preferences and and how much you want to spend.

I would like to rent a place (on Airbnb probably) in an area with regular Colombian shops / cafes, not too snobby and not rundown. Any recommendations? What about downtown? Someone near the majority of the casas if possible.

Are taxi's there cheap / safe? What about the metro? Is the RLD safe to walk around during the daytime? I'm a bit of a lone wolf, so if I don't find myself in a group of guys, is it unsafe to walk around there at night? Are the hotel rooms there safe / clean? Are there many Casas in that neighborhood too? Questions !! Questions!!

I'm interested in the RLD district in Medellin as I notice a lot of curvier types on youtube videos which I suspect I won't see in the Casas, or am I wrong? Are there casas that are better for this type? (tits and ass!)

I read a lot of you guys talking about chicas you meet online, maybe I'm not as with it as some of you, as I've only really used Badoo for this in the past in the DR. What better sites should I be using? I don't really get how you can meet chicas you don't know on Facebook?

I've never stayed in the downtown area, so I can't provide any advice for hotels or apartments there. The downtown area is loaded with Colombian shops and restaurants. Recently, I've been staying in Laureles. It is easy to travel between there and downtown for less than a dollar. Hotels and apartments in Laureles are clean and safe. The renter is the one who introduces non-safe conditions in almost all cases.

Taxis are very cheap and safe, but you don't need a taxi to visit the RLD and the casas in downtown. You can walk to most of them. There are many casas. Only walk during the daytime, never after dark. The areas in downtown you should avoid are where you don't see any locals walking. The Metro is cheap, fast, and safe. It's never happened to me, but I have heard of pickpocketers on the Metro. Other than going to and from the airport (or between places you are staying), never carry anything that, if you lost it, would cause a problem for you.

Most of the downtown casas will have some big chicas (the ones you call curvy).

I have met almost all the chicas I know on Facebook. You need to get a start, and then it will be like rabbits, they multiple fast.
