This is to aware the situation what I faced today.

I am a newbie in the mongering area. Recently from an dating app I got a number, name says Twinkle. No is: 998xxxx519. Is a fraud.

While chatting she asked me to transfer 1 Re in his account, so that she can know I can do a online transfer after the deed. And she me epaytm. In some account no.

Today I tried giving transferring 1 Re through the website. The website is HTTP enabled. Many of us know the HTTP is secure so I didn't have any issue.

But, twist happens here. As soon as I tried getting OTP from bank, I did received OTP. But authenticating using the OTP shows error. And with in after few minutes I got message from bank that.

Re 9830 got deducted from my account. And she block my number. I had no clue without authorization how the amount got debited. I have to go to bank tomorrow to seek an explanation.

If anyone have any idea or help please feel free to give suggestion. And yes, do not scold me as I am newbie here. But this is kind of unexpected. People take money through paytm and block I can understand. But this is something like scam.

If anyone came across this please please let the forum know.

I am aware of the rules, but I feel the content here will be helpful for newbie and / or other mongers.
