First time posting and finally pulled the trigger and booked my trip.

I'll be in MDE from Feb 4 - 11, anybody want to have a drink and share information and stories? I know other countries and locations but MDE will be my first trip.

IMO, that's a dick move. To us it all fun and games, to them it's their livelihood. And while most are not what we would call professional in their punctuality or flakiness, it's still how they feed themselves.

If you book a girl and she flakes, don't book her again. And if she reaches out, tell her the reason you are no longer interested. Always have plan be ready, but double booking is wrong IMO. There are many guys with no class or decency that will do this often, but what happens when they both show up? One will be pissed and hopefully all she does is leave peacefully. Think of how that can go wrong and then decide if you would want to deal with that.

BTW- I have had 2 no call / no shows in 8 trips, so a high flakiness rate may be a reflection of the person it happens to.

True. These girls have numerous commitments, obligations, children to have looked after, etc. What if the baby sitter, who may herself have commitments, does not show? They want the money more than you want the p...y. If they could be on time they would. They need to be given some slack.

Well, now that I know where on Calle 33 you're planning on going, I can save you a trip. There's nothing on Calle 33 at UPB worth your time. There's some cheap restaurants, Medellin's only laundromat and not far away is a block full of barbers and hairdressers. The night clubs are further away to the east and it's not an area where gringos typically go.

On the other side of UPB is Carrera 70 and you get a lot of college students at the bars and clubs there, but good luck finding anyone on 33.

JjBee62 is right, I went to a night spot on Calle 33 with a chica I know there, and I was the only gringo in the spot. I got many looks. No one started any trouble, but.

I definitely wouldn't go back by myself.

So I've been staying at the San Peter Apartments in Laureles. Its in a nice area, reception doesn't really bother me with girls, just checks their ID, but the bed and wifi is terrible. I also want to try staying in Poblado for a change.

I've recently found a studio apartment right on the street next to poblado park on cr. 43. This would mean total freedom in terms of who goes and comes. No ID checks, no receptionist, no security as the guy who rents them doesn't in Medellin. It seems to be in a decent part of town. The girls I see are facebook girls mostly whom I trust to an extent, so I don't think I need reception or security. The guy who rents them seems to be anti prostitutes but what's to stop me from saying their just guests, since guests are allowed and theres no one to check otherwise. Does anyone have experience with these street level apartments?

I always bring a couple of toys to have fun with the ladies and improve the quality of the performance. I am always amazed at how "selfish" the local guys are. I do gifts differently. If I had a great time, which requires more than good sex, then I might invite her back for something longer. Maybe a shopping trip to buy her something to wear and not just something for my enjoyment. Maybe dinner and a movie, or something nice for her kids. My reasoning is, if I give her something to convince her to show me the best time, then I'm committed to that routine with her every time, and she'll start to expect it from others. But, if she gives me her best without expecting a bonus, then a reward might be in order.

You don't give bonuses before the performance evaluation, you give them after.

However, loading up your suitcase with cheap (to you) crap, hoping to trade it for sex is demeaning. These are people. People with the same needs as you. I remember that case of the guy getting murked by confederates of a girl he brought in. A good tip is to be selective about girls you bring into your personal space, be it an apartment, hotel room, or whatever. The hotels register visitors for everyone's protection. They even ask for YOUR ID when you check in. And you think they should let some random hooker in and out without knowing who they are? And what amazes me is that hookers will still do crazy shit knowing the people have a copy of their ID or even the actual ID. Many a chick in Thailand have been caught that way.

Alright fellas this is my first time alone in Mde. I will be staying in Parque Lleras area. I have been to mde several times but never Venture out really. I will be there from Feb 7th-10th. I'm interested in visiting Fase dos, La Isla and any other spots you suggest. I will be avoiding El Centro. As well. I will do the tourist thing during the day and mongering at night.
