I start by Veracruz church. Walk down beside it, make a right, walk all the way down to the end of the block, cross the street and walk the other side. I then circle back to the girl I liked most or sit down at a bar and have a drink. There will also be girls in the bars you don't see as you walk by. Im sure we stick out but the street is bustling with traffic, venders, delivery trucks, and other pedestrians going about their day. I personally don't walk around long and find a good viewpoint from the bar. You will have venders walking up trying to sell you everything under the sun. I otherwise haven't been bothered. It is cheap and a fun hunt for something I like. Which is not always immediate so go shopping, have lunch, check out the musuem, Botero statues, then walk back through. So much to see/do down there. Easy to spend the whole day down there for me.
The Ruadal area is close as well if you prefer to head to that area for a loop.
How do you operate Centro! I have done every single method also! Except Centro! I have a skewed vision of it after watching YouTube videos. Maybe it's me but it seems like the most uncomfortable way of mongering. I imagine walking down some 3rd world looking street. Passing by shady guys and looking like a sore thumb. Then walking up to a group of thirsty unattractive women. Looking at them then walking as they make cat calls at me as I continue down ghetto streets on foot looking for a diamond in the ruff. LOL.
My thought process to avoid this scenario was find some sort of transportation (in a car seems safer). Maybe asking the cab driver to circle around until I found my diamond. Putting down the window. She walks over. Negotiates. Hope's in then off we go to either my alt or a love motel of my choosing.
Mind you, I monger alone so what is the real way of doing this safely and with a bit of dignity LOL. The whole walking the streets just doesn't seem realistic for a foreigner. What's your methods? In detail please.
Unless you are a Cartel Member or Arab who has bought some of these Medellin girls, please be mindful and open minded about speculations. If you mention money in this forum you will be bashed, if you mention Centro they will say you will be robbed. I will tell you this, I exclusively monger in Centro, and I have met plenty of girls who meet my standards. Many on the board will tell you that they have had beauties beyond belief, but never one pic. The most common excuse is this, I respect the girl. If they respected the girl, they would not pay her for sex and would tell her to find some upstanding work, but that's not neither here nor there.
Plenty of people have inboxed me and I have sent them photos of girls and numbers and the nearly 95% of the guys ask about the skinny girls that I send and truly I am a ass man, so once again, landing a 10 is in the eye of the beholder. I have come to terms that many mongers have a little woman syndrome and they won't spinners under a 100 lbs and under 5 foot. Then this is what you need to say, don't just say, I want a 10. To be honest, most of the chics I see guys chasing are extremely young looking and that's cool, but say that, don't just say, I want a 10.
My favorite chic is a few girls from Centro, who allow all 3 hole access, and swallow and do anything you ask for the pesos. If you are obsessed with physical beauty then you should also say that, but for me, performance is what makes a woman a 10, not just looks. I have had many chics in Casas that wouldn't let me take pics, or wanted a tip for BBBJ and had too many rules. The 10 factor is all in the mind and you have to know what your 10 factor is and what you are willing to pay. Fortunately, I take enough pesos with me to achieve every desire I can think of, that's what a monger has to be honest with himself about. What services and looks do you want for the pesos that you are spending. I can't tell you how much money to bring, as this is also a problem starter. If you happen to see a Unicorn and you have to have her, it would be ashame to miss that Unicorn due to lack of funds. To all Mongers have fun, be safe and I will see Medellin in March. Pollo Negro is out!
PolloNegro is completely legit as the tall man has connected with him off line and I for one appreciate his honesty and style for the chicas, lets just say that we have chica freinds in common, jajajaja.
So many guys are chasing the 10 for whatever that means, now I must admit that in years past that I, when I had a shit load of discretionary income to burn, have paid handsomely for a real top 10 model type material, but things change and I am on the low key budget manager system for stretching my pesos and guess what I am having a blast with the centro chicas and other low volume under the radar girl next door, who like PolloNegro some of you would go "WTF", to each his own, just be real and have fun and go with the flow.
From the well over 200 chicas I have seen in casas so far this trip very few are in their late 20's. The vast majority are in their early 20's. A few even in their late teens.

I'm an American looking to retire in Medellin or possibly Cali or elsewhere, though my experience outside Medellin is very limited. I only mention Cali as I believe the cost of living is less than Medellin and I like warm weather. I'd like to inquire what kind of life I would have living on a small pension of about $2200 monthly. The best I can tell from my visits is that my standard of living would be much lower than it is now.
Not to get into all the gory details, I lost my business and with it, my savings. Hence, I have to rely on my pension. Although I'm a professional and have commanded a good salary, at 67 I find that jobs are much more difficult to come by. I was recently laid off and can't even get an interview. Besides, after over 50 years of working, I'm ready to leave the cold winters here in the northeast and enjoy retired life.
Is a decent apartment in a relatively safe area with enough left over for food, modest entertainment, basic medical (I'm healthy), etc possible in my circumstances? The decision I need to make is whether to struggle to look for work so I can replenish my savings somewhat or take the plunge and retire. Thanks.
There is a thread called: "Living and retirement in Medellin" in the user blogs, lots of good info there:
My buddy Steward who is retired in Med, after living at the Hotel Botero for a year got a apt:
It is in Belen La Palma, has a balcony, living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen for $240 a month, utilities included. Says he's surrounded by good neighborhoods, two blocks from an Exito, 10 minutes walk from Los Molinos Mall.
My thought process to avoid this scenario was find some sort of transportation (in a car seems safer). Maybe asking the cab driver to circle around until I found my diamond. Putting down the window. She walks over. Negotiates. Hope's in then off we go to either my alt or a love motel of my choosing.
Now that is what would be weird to me. When you walk you go at your own pace and can stop and talk to whoever whenever. Turn around and walk back in the same direction. If you are in a car you have to go with the flow of traffic. Then say you pass by and see a chick you like. You tell the taxi to circle back around. By then a guy like me has already walked up and taken her. Then people see the same car stopping and going and circling around and it looks suspicious. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. There are thousands of people everyday walking and doing this and you want to be the only one in a car sticking out like a sore thumb.
Bicycle! On bike I can give you a perspective of Medellin like no other. Sketchy areas seem not quite as sketchy. We can cover 10 times more ground on bicyle than on foot and you will notice 1000 times more detail than if you were cruising around in a car. I know the city very well. Who wants to ride bikes?
I'm an avid cyclist and gave up my car for a bike. I live just outside NYC. Biking the streets is hazardous most everywhere though. I can't imagine navigating the streets of Medellin on bike, especially not knowing the city well. There doesn't seem to be many bike lanes. And motorists are completely crazy in Medellin as is the case in much of Latin America. It is dangerous enough for a pedestrian. Perhaps when I get there you can show me the way.

.........After they hit their late 20's and the next groups of 10's replace them they've prob had a kid or 2 from the BBFS they have to do for insane amounts of Cartel money they'll go to Dubai or Europe to try to make as much as they can and.............

I appreciate all of the recent posts about mongering in El Centro. I'm leaning towards staying in this area for my trip later this year. Is Nutibara a good hotel to stay at? Chica friendly, hassle free? Or, is the best recommendation to use the love motels? I've traveled to San Jose and Sosua, and I've always just brought the girls back to my room at Chica friendly hotels. Are the love motels sketchy, or easy to use? Will the girl just know of a decent one to take me to? My Spanish is basic, but I'm getting better. Studying online. Thanks.
Hotel Nutibara is a grand old hotel that after 6 PM no outside guests are allowed.

Our story is similar and I am also planning to retire in next few years in a warm country full of beauties. Of course, you can live a comfortable life for your monthly pension if you do not monger. Being american, you might find a young colombian as a wife.

I am arriving in Medellin this week so I am brainstorming for important information as it comes to me.
One concern / question I have is about bringing a girl or girls back to my apartment with me. I have talked to many girls on cupid, so the arrangement requires going somewhere to have fun. I shouldn't have any lobby entry issues for being shaken down for money since I have an apartment rented in El Poblado area, but I have read some stories on occasion about the possibility of "sticky fingers" in my apartment, and even worse, girls that cause problems, especially when you bring more than one girl back. I plan to have more than one threesome during my trip so I am curious what that can involve. My apartment is my private sanctuary of course and these girls are all strangers to me, so I would like to get any and all thoughts on this topic. I speak almost no Spanish, but I do know some basic words. However a translator will be a requirement for me.
Thanks.
If you are going to participate in this type of activity, you must know there's always a risk, whether it is the risk of being robbed, drugged, beaten by thugs, etc. If you want risk free simply don't partake in this hobby because it doesn't exist. Having said that, you can minimize the potential for being a victim. My recommendations: 1) Don't leave your drinks unattended, better to open your own beer and hold it in your hand. Best to not drink so as you're in control and alert at all times. 2) Don't do drugs as you're going to lose control of the situation. 3) keep your valuables and belongings hidden and in a safe place. I split then hide my currency, passport, etc. In multiple places so if one place is discovered and stolen all is not lost. 4) Don't leave the chicas alone and don't let them split from you. All three take a shower together, go to the balcony together, smoke the cigarette outside together, etc. Etc. You always want to be in visual contact with the chicas 4) once inside the apt, lock the door and take out the key so the chics can't let someone in. Most need a key to lock and don't operate with a latch which is ideal 5) if there's a doorman / security, slip them little cash and ask them to call you and check on you before they let the girls leave the building.
I think we need to take a step back from the Narcos and Sicario series. There are lots of '10's' that aren't involved in anything nefarious. The criminal organizations are not efficient enough to grab all of them into some bizarre cartel to arabs ladder system. Most never really retire because unless you work for a multinational or run a successful business you aren't going to earn much in Colombia.
A year ago, I fell in love with the Medellin post for Colombia, because it seemed exciting and the girls seemed incredible. The girls are incredible, Medellin is a beautiful place to find girls and members will do anything do distract other members from finding quality chics. I went to Medellin and hooked up with wolf and he taught me the ropes. I went back 16 more times after that. One day, members find 10's, then they get'them cheap, then the Casas's are the best thing smoking and the truth is its just distraction.
There are only a few members who post worthwhile photos, information and location of Casas and trustworthy girls. Out of respect, if you're not a Cartel member, leave them guys to do their own thing. If your pesos are little, then save more, and then go find you some expensive chics with horrible sex. But let me assure you, no one has better sex than a chic with a hungry child and an impending rent bill, that's why most chics are in Vera Cruz. Look back through my posts and you will see I post hotel rooms, girls, locations. Look through the many posts and you will see Hotel Normandia is girl friendly, clean, old but it is only $16.00/ day.
On a bright note, the Cartel, does not really deal with everyday chicas who work in this profession, these girls talk too much, and it puts the Cartel at risk, so don't worry about banging the Cartel's girl, they wouldn't risk dealing with these loose ends, only mongers like us care about banging these chics and we have no Narco's they can rat on us about, Pollo Negro is out. LOL.

I think but am not sure Nutribara is no guests after 9 pm but I'd email or write them. I stay behind there at the Botero, review in the MED hotel thread, post #925.
I have used the love Hotel Eros in Centro, it was easy and nice, had a steam room and a hot tub in my room. But cab there, sketchy area.
Next time I think I will try the Hotel 3 the Suite, rooms look nice.
This page has a drop down menu with lots of Love Hotels.
