About how much time do the buses spend in customs when they cross the border?

Credit Cards.
The Hotel Meson Del Rey is the best hotel by the bridge. Quiet. Nice and they take credit cards. Give it a shot and you will see.

Hotel Meson Del Rey.
According to the following Facebook page, the Hotel Meson Del Rey takes Mastercards:

Is there any other hotel close to Bridge #1 that takes credit cards?

Agree with you on that, the guy just stopped at a punto de venta to pick up a rock. As for the kids on bikes, the vendedores are often very young, and the bicycle is their preferred means of transportation. They do, however, get all the pussy they want for free, leaving the poor gringos in the bars downtown with nothing but sloppy seconds at exorbitant prices.

Route 11 of the Laredo City Bus System, El Metro, goes from the downtown transit center to the airport:

It's been 50 pesos even when more than 1 person gets in and all are coming back to the bridge. Taxis will give priority to people going to bridge from bus station cause he makes more money doing taxi pooling.

He escorted Zygo to the bridge while I was doing something, if Zygo would have waited for me the guy would not have asked for money in my presence. I sometimes pass him 50 pesos when things are real slow and he isn't making any money. Javier never asks me for anything than a cigarette.
I know Bbond, I started seeing red flags pop up with that guy toward the middle of our meal at the restaurant. I don't know exactly what makes someone act like how he acted that day. At the human level, I recognized shallow behavior. But I could sense a confrontation between him and I towards the end because of his own bitterness and disrespect for me as a person. It was nice hanging out with you how ever. You look good.

They started questioning him, I did not stick around, not good. My recommendation, do not go through the main entrance, walk around to entrance where the buses come in, that will take you directly to Taxis.
Be careful.
That's a good tip but kind of would look suspicious. Remember that old saying, desperate people take desperate measures? Right now the city of Nuevo Laredo has allot of desperate people in it. I don't even like going into the streets of downtown. I will communicate that to the taxi if he doesn't use the main streets. Thanks for the review and for your wisdom. The guy who was being questioned probably had someone looking for him. I feel bad for the people who live in Nuevo Laredo. It's very interesting but very scary. My next trip to mty will be directly from a San Antonio bus which takes about 7 hours to arrive to mty.

No idea, but if you read the article, which is dated in 2016, the building was constructed before 1880, and is extremely poor condition and not worth restoration. Looking at google maps, street view shows that perhaps it was torn down and replaced. There is nothing there that resembles the photo in the article, and the article makes no mention where the photo was taken.

He paid a ladt, strange thing everyone was on bikes.4th or 5th right from the border going to the bus station. I woke up very quickly. Moving forward I will be much more careful and instruct the Taxi Driver no be S, take the main streets. No more side streets. Be careful.
