Sorry, but this is not an FR that covers an encounter. A couple of weeks ago, one of my acquaintances. Wealthy and politically well connected businessman in Delhi who is known in our friends circle to have his way with LE and most government departments pitched us an offer. Setting up and operating an upscale Spa on partnership basis and eventually franchising it. Even though it was a serious discussion in a professional setting and there was absolutely no locker room talk of extras or anything of that sort, I politely declined the offer of partnership (for obvious reasons) and expressed a slight interest in investing for a good return without any involvement in business. I am in the process of doing some back ground research and crunching the CAPEX and OPEX numbers on my own without taking my auditor / accountant into confidence (again for obvious reasons). Can any kind soul with experience and insight into running a Spa / MP please help with inputs? Would really appreciate all and any help. Thanks in advance.

Back after quite a while. Feels good. Here's the update:
