I think you mean the oyo home in hsr layout. It is still available and couple friendly. I used it last week but you have to be there to submit your ID. I think it has become kind of mandatory. You can check-in first and give the room number to the girl and she can check-in separately later.

This is a great post. Very logical and correct. There is however a different purpose to discussing prices here. It is to let people know that mongering is not uncommon and provide a ball park figure on what newbies should be spending. Money discussions are hence important and an integral part of ISG.

Won't work in a city (market) as large as Bangalore.

One must always assume a market remains free as long as there are no tariffs, quotas, embargos etc. Let's say that you plan to manipulate the market. The only way you can, is by either governing the market (which you are not in a position to do so) or by controlling the demand (which is what you are suggesting).

Now, to control demand thereby manipulating price, you must assume you can control a significant share of the market.
