Never ever make the payment to drivers or half payments, the is the signal to cut all losses and not proceed any further. Its simple logic, why would anyone ask for half payment before the deed? Its a clear sign to not proceed any further as the SP or the girl as trapping you.

Let this incident be an example for anyone who wants to start mongering.
