Thank you, appreciate the effort if you can get more details. This forum needs more information than the standard run around the riverside bars and a handful of freelancer nightclubs.

    Musings

So we discuss hotels, bring-girl policy, aircon, KTV locations, GDP, French literature, body data, unknown unknowns, club activity. Even though some of us sometimes haggle, this is a pretty good thread now. Other threads discuss whether wearing a tie helps to concvince potential conquests. The PP thread plays two leagues higher these days. Thanks to all. T'is the season of love and blessings.

To find that and alike KTV, ask any tuk tuk driver for "romantic KTV" and "KTV with girls". He will understand and get you there for a few bucks. Line up of 30 to 40 . Maybe there is only one karaoke-equipped girl repository that big. I like Mr Clen's report. Apparently I have decades to go having fun. Never had the no panties experience. Neat. Let us hope neatly trimmed. Some friends and biz associates I take to karaoke ask me sometimes whether I was a professional pop singer in younger years. I was not, more a choir boy than anything. But I know half the damn (English language) catalogue. I like KTV and can light up any evening with a mike.

Second night same KTV without our factory people. More girls and chose my two to sit. Evening progressed and found out the more desirable of the two was wearing no panties and I was quite free to roam. The other girl said she wanted to make it a twosome but as she was not that great in the KTV I guessed she wouldn't get better later. Took no panties home for an enjoyable night.

    Weekend in PP

First trip to PP from 13 Dec (late) until 16 Dec. Stayed at NAGA World 2 for a reasonable $50.00 per night. Had an upscale room which was fine although a bit small. Nice view looking out at the traffic circle.

Was with some Korean friends and met up with some factory people who live and work there. Was actually there mostly for business. My Korean friends were golfers and spent the 14th and 15th playing golf.

My friends had been there before but had never been to any of the bar streets. At my urging, one of them and I went to Street 130 for a little while Sunday afternoon. Had a beer and some pizza at a corner restaurant. Beer and pizza were quite good. Waitress, while not one I would take out, was cute and fun. Looks like some fun to be had in the bars with the girls.

As a note, I am not a bar or massage parlor type person, and am 79 years old, (am told I look about 60 or so.). My preferred take out agenda is the KTV's. Normally sit two and maybe take one or both depending upon chemistry.

In the evening we met up with the factory people and were taken to a KTV in another part of town. There was no sign or lights to indicate it was KTV or even open. (Sorry I don't know the name or location). A line up of 30 to 40 girls of which several were quite nice. Ended up going there for both nights.

First night sat two and wanted to take one. However the one I wanted was a ONE SHOT and could not go for all night. The other girl was more than willing but declined because I had already decided on the one I wanted and went back to hotel alone. Played a bit of table games and off to bed.

Left me wondering that maybe with this KTV there was more to be seen? NO lights, No sign, and a bit hidden away. Girl with no underwear and others with very sexy outfits. Maybe if played right could be a naked KTV?? Well when and if get to go back I intend to find out.

2 months ago I stayed 2 nights in the Lavanya hotel near LE Cyrcee.

The room was not bad with a very comfy bed, nice bathroom, good tv with lots of channels and very new AC (but it's small though) and I think the location is good also.

I think it was the first night I bought some soy milk and put it in the fridge, next day when I woke up the milk was not even cold, that's when I realized there was a problem with that fridge (but I thought it was only in my room).

I went down to the reception and the girl told me that the fridge in this place are working like at 60 percent (I thought wtf is a fridge working only at 60 percent) and told her to change me that fridge.

They just sent a girl to check it, she checked the back of the fridge, went outside, came back, checked it again and said it work. She took a coke can out the fridge and said "cold". It was barely colder than the temperature of the room. At that point I knew I would get nothing out of it and all the management already knew there is a problem with the fridges.

Then when I went in the bathroom I saw many of the items written "Point Boutique hotel" on it. It instantly reminded me of your post about the Point hotel having all their fridges out of service.

Next day I was out of that place just because of that fridge (don't know how they think they can get away with it for a room that they charge more than 30 dollars per night).

    Thanks

Certainly a good report from Blanci. Busy barhopper, I don't have those guts in such a short time. Just cannot do it. KTV on 118 are only good if you bring your conquest. To find a girl there. Forget it. But 118 is close to the center of the district, KTV are cheap. It is a good way to socialize and mellow your conquest, especially if you are a decent singer. Thanks again. Keep posting.

    Excellent Report

Great report Blanquiceleste- direct, clear and too the point, will without doubt benefit readers of the PP forum! Has certainly whet my appetite for upcoming trip in Feb / Mar 2020.

Thanks again and keep it up. _. literally and. _. figuratively!!

    Cheers.

As I mentioned in some previous posts, killing time in the afternoons in PP (if you are not into art, literature, religion and such noble pursuits) can be challenging or unhealthy (you could sit and drink! So I usually call in some tried and tested girls from my roster to keep company in the sweltering heat till it is conducive to step out in the open. Of course, the occasional walk to the massage shop, or the laundry or a restaurant should be discounted.

So, every afternoon I had one girl from a reliable list I have built up over time. Of course, this time I had the pleasure of meeting 3 other BMs on ground, and we had an absolute blast together. Thanks guys, you know who you are! Now on to the reporting.

For food, here are my picks:

    1. O La La on St 136 still has a good menu and though the prices are a tad on the higher side, I find the quality of food quite good.

    2. Harry's is great for the specials. Beer is cheap at $1 and it is a great place to watch sports of any kind. The Khmer food at Harry's is terrible though.

    3. On the Corner near St 130 (the original) is absolutely fantastic, but the time they take to serve food can be a buzzkill, especially when you are famished.

    4. On the Corner 2 near St 144 is also good, and I think they have the most comprehensive menu in that part of town.

    5. If you like Asian far, Noodle House on the corner of St 136 and St 5 is fantastic.

    6. If you prefer high end cuisine, head to the Independence Monument area; several places there. I visited Ngon and Malis. Google for location. Both are remarkable. Ngon is not really expensive either.

    7. If you like craft beer and good bunch of sides / mains / BBQ head to Botanico on St 29 near Independence Monument. Highly recommended.

    Now for the bars:

    1. Street 136 still rules the roost for being the busiest street for hobbyists. Bars to note are Alaska, Tokyo, Xanadu. Bars to give a pass are all others. I think I saw some of the worst lookers at Pussycat, Sweet Lemon and 69 Bar. Some other bars like I Get You, Sahara, Route 136, Tiger, etc. Have at least 1 decent looking girl, but that is about it. Zero choice. Military Bar is the best place to play pool, don't expect girls here.

    2. Street 130 is next on the list. Angry Birds, Intoxica, Honeypot, Dragonfly, Loco, Splash, Blue Bird and OneThreeSix are all quite good. On a couple of nights there was no place to sit at Angry Birds and Intoxica.

    3. Street 5 is the biggest loser on this list. We must have peeked into at least a dozen or so bars here. Found one bar with a couple of decent girls. There is one place with twins working in the same bar. Could be interesting.

    4. Street 118 and Street 110 are completely passable.

    5. Street 104 is no better or worse off than my last visit. Airforce was fantastic on all 3 nights I visited. Boss Bar, OneZeroFour, Top Ten, Nana Bar, Marine Bar all have decent talent, but nothing outstanding.

    6. There were a gaggle of other bars we peeked into around the St 172, St 178 and St 51 areas. Nothing to really write home about, except for a totally non-descript bar on St 178, next to Royal Sarowan Hotel, just before hitting Norodom Blvd if approaching from the Riverside. The bar has no name. There are probably half a dozen girls here, most of them a bit mature but very well put together and fairly smart. If you are an older gent looking for some company along with some fun, this might be a good place to poke around.

    Other places:

    1. Among clubs Pontoon is still alive and kicking. Went there 2 nights, returned with a prize on one of the nights. Among the best picks of this trip.

    2. Places like DOS and Paradise were closed, maybe we got there late - 1 am on Thursday.

    3. Casa Nightclub & KTV near what Phnom is shut down for good.

    4. Wanted to visit Soul Golden KTV, but could not find the time.

    5. Did not visit Darlin Darlin this time.

    6. The KTVs on Street 118 are a waste of time.

    My Hotel:

I will never stay again at Point Boutique. The fridge in the room kept stopping, the aircon takes forever to cool, the balcony is an apology and cannot accommodate a single grown man, the water supply was cut off on one day without warning, etc. Too many fuckups to given them a second chance. No problems, plenty of other places offering better value for the money I paid there. $40 a night.

So that is it. I hope it makes for informative reading for all you fine folks. Keep going!

Woke up in the morning around 7 AM and went down for a breakfast again, same set of shit but with extra crispy bacon. I asked them to burn it really well LOL. I hate floppy bacon as much as you hate floppy willy when its time to play, you just got to have it hard and crispy. Packed my bags and upon leaving I was kindly told that since the aircon did not work, all my room bills are settled and considered free. That's a nice gesture but I might not book this hotel again.

I took Grab to NagaWorld 2, it came as a Lexus SUV and cost USD2.

Check in was a breeze but of course I went first wrongly to Naga 1 as it was not stated in my booking. It is quite a hike with luggage from Naga 1 to 2, but a portier assisted me so no worries. It really takes 5 minutes at least to stroll through the underground passage through tax free branded shops. They charge deposit os USD100 a day in Naga 2 which is quite a lot, breakfast is USD12 if bought during check in and USD15 if bought in the morning. I ate lunch in the Italian restaurant at Naga 1 second floor and food was great. At night I noticed that I could see about 50 girls within 150 m in Zalo, they were all quoting USD200 for a night until morning but went immediately down to USD150 and this was around 9 PM. I went to the lobby lounge and watched the world go by, slowly zipping a bottle of white wine and saw about 5 or 6 girls at the bar counter and more strolling around nearby. I took one lady with me and agreed USD100 for a price until morning and the time was around 11 AM..
    Day 4 continuation.

I ate lunch at Harry's, killer salmon meal and drowned some beers and spend a little time there. Waitresses were nice and giggly.

I kind of like my apartment in Lux Riverside with own balcony, washing machine and even a kitchen if you would like to cook.

I started my Monday night at Honeypot, which was pretty much empty as only I myself and another guy were the only customers at around 10 PM. I chatted with a 25 y old half Cambodian and half Vietnamese girl with shorter colored light hair until the shoulder. She seemed nice but we did not have any chemistry at all, this girl was not really attentive and I nearly had to force her to talk.

After an hour I went to Corner Bar at 136st, there were a lot of customers and also a lot of girls. In the minute when you step in, the worst lookers will try to push themselves to you and block the view to others.

The bar had few larger group of Chinese who already took all the best girls, but I found two ladies to drink with (its always funnier with two, but also more expensive). I think that I stayed there until around 1 AM and even ordered food from Ostro Bistro across the street. I had great time and managed to receive a bill of USD102 and it was all correct. I took with me the other girl I was drinking with that night, we seemed to sync better.

We took a short 2 minutes walk to Lux Hotel and the guy at the reception were sleeping, or pretend to be sleeping. We never talked about money with the girl, and even in the morning when she was leaving I was asking how much do I owe her and she did not say anything. I gave her USD50 and she seemed to be more than happy.

By the way, the barfine was USD12 at Corner bar and it is much more quit to sit on the second floor and you can see many interesting things if sitting at the balcony. For my eye there were many girls working (around 30-40) and on my opinion some of them are minors. I was really bothered by 2 girls. Although when I asked the other one she said that the age is 21 and even showed an ID, but that was not the same girl in the ID picture. I would really be careful to check ID's of girls that you choose, and if they look too young to you, choose someone else. You don't want to get into troubles in PP.

    DAY 5.

I had really much too many drinks on last night and felt like dead until the late afternoon. Had a breakfast at the hotel and few extra coffees and Cheers, but otherwise spend the day by recharging myself.

I just went out to walk to buy few refreshments from the nearby store, ate a small meal at O La La and walked also to a tiny and hot small pizza shop run by an Italian fellow 4 blocks away from 136st. I bought pepperoni pizza and brought it with me to my hotel. It was great, I would recommend to visit there if you are into Italian food from pastas to pizzas. The name was Genova DELI Shop and Trattoria near Kandal market.

Have to add here the O La La happy hour of USD0. 75 draft beer which lasts practically forever, if I am not mistaken it was from 7 AM to 4 AM.

Harry's has great food I do agree.

I am not a professional on PP night life, but when I was staying in Naga 2 the price was quite affrodable. I only paid USD60 per night.

But the negotiations regarding night butterfly prices are better after midnight, that is the time for bargain sale.
