Yeah, I came to the conclusion that it may not be worth it. Its not like LE is going to handle this cleanly anyway, so that would be another headache.

I have the UPI ID so tracking to bank account can be easily done, but I'm going to let it go.

As for details of the girl, the pics were from an insta account. I don't know if the scammer was the girl herself or if someone just took the pictures from the insta, so I'm not going to share, just to close the matter.

I think more important is that the UPI was in the name of Na. So, don't send money to any account with similar name, unless you know the name is legit.

Also, SA banned the account fairly soon after it was opened, so someone else must also have been scammed and complained.

I learnt that one should be careful with new accounts on SA. Accounts that have been around for some time are unlikely to be scammers as they would have been taken down by now.
