Immigration bulletin: for those planning to enter Colombia.

The Director General of Migration Colombia, Juan Francisco Espinosa Palacios, announced the non-requirement of a PCR COVID-19 test for those travelers who arrive in the country on humanitarian or commercial flights before September 30.

Espinosa Palacios clarified that although the requirement for PCR COVID-19 tests will not be made before September 30, travelers who enter from abroad before that date are obliged to take the test once they are in Colombia and must comply with a mandatory isolation measure for fourteen (14) days, which will be supervised by the health authorities of each municipality.

The head of the Colombian immigration authority recalled the importance of filling out the Check-Mig application by travelers to streamline the immigration control process, as well as the obligation to report health status through the Coronapp application, prior to the trip and during the 14 days after it.

The price varies a lot, I thinking it depends heavily and availability. I brought my viva Miami ticket for 19th for about 450 dollars, my spirit 21st FLL flight for about the same price. I brought my 23rd sport FLL flight for about 100 dollars.

What Does it mean when a seeking profile In medellin says "I'm a boy not a girl". The profile says she is a female. in the picture she looks very much like a female but then at the end of the profile it says "I'm a boy not a girl". This is just confusing.

To add a bit. A lot of the trans women (born male, but identify as females in many cases) want to be admired and seen as women. They may go to great lengths to be feminine. Multiple surgeries, some to just change subtle facial features, for example, to make themselves look feminine. But. If they are in the business it is necessary to mention the other part. Otherwise no end of trouble. And, whether you or I like it or not, there is a big demand for such.

Yes, be on the look out for broad shoulders, masculine facial features, etc. Plus a lot of the trans people already have had their junk chopped off.

I noticed a lot of trans people on tinder (because I just auto swipe right on everything) in Colombia.

However, in Brazil tinder, the amount of trans profiles was exponentially higher.

I actually met a 'girl' at the mall here in the USA, who was visiting from Brazil. She was 5'10, skinny, bunda, and fake tits.

I didn't realize till several months later, after talking to her on Instagram and planning a trip to go visit her (she explained she was a post-op tranny. Obviously that ended my vacation plans). All of my friends thought she was a female when they saw her Insta, also.

I think what confuses me about this thread is why would someone coming from a country that only India exceeds for coronavirus infections and deaths is worried about plans for dealing with an infection in Colombia. Public health officials agree that on the whole the probability for getting infected is far higher in the United States than it is in Colombia. Does it really take a pandemic to understand no one should travel. Or stay home. Without health insurance of some kind?

Like many BM have said multiple times, there are a ton of much more dangerous things with much higher likelihood of occurrence associated with mongering. Worrying about getting Covid while mongering is like a solider worrying about getting hit by lightning while dodging bullets on the battlefield.

Disclaimer, I'm in my 30's and very healthy; I run marathons and I get the flu once every five years (I never take the flu shot), so the chance of me having a serious reaction from covid is very low, it's a waste of time to worry about it. I will do my best to respect the safety protocols laid out by the officials, I will not actively trying to spread Covid by hosting or participating in large gatherings. But I will continue mongering, people who worry about to getting infected from mongering should stop monger.

As invincible as you think you are, you are not, and there are other mongers like myself that have concerns about being exposed to COVID, and for me personally being an El Centro street rat I believe my exposure level will be much higher because of the way I roll.

Regardless, and damn the torpedos, I'm thinking of returning next month, albeit I'm going to curtail / change how I roll and just shack up with a few girls versus shooting fish in a barrel every day in El Centro.

Another thing for those who will be returning, it would be good to make sure you have health insurance. Just in case, I'm looking at a travellers policy thru Blue Cross / Blue Shield which is associated with nine Hospitals in Medellin, including Tobon which is the best in town.

I called Viva airline, they assured me the 19th flight from Miami to Medellin is definitely on, and with a US passport I can get on it. I know the airline doesn't represent the official authority, but it is looking good.

That is really good to hear. I have a flight on Viva too. Now I may have to decide if I want to go to Bogota earlier on Spirit or go right to MDE with Viva later that night. I probably will go earlier. I would rather pass the time in Colombia than Florida.

I'm on the inauguration flight to Medellin! Words cannot express my happiness. I will keep people posted.

Man, what would it take to convince people that I placed the right bet? In the scientific world we have a say, when you first propose an idea, people will immediately say you are wrong, then after some facts indicating you are likely to be correct, people will say its trivial, finally, when all the facts confirmed you are completely correct, people will say you are not the first one who come up with the idea.

Someone called those of us going the canaries in the coal mine. Shit, it is more like the first penguins to jump into a sea loaded with the most tasty fish in the world. Tall Man and others have been going on about how great it is, and I just cannot get over how many people still fear so easily what the media tells them to. In a few months, everybody is going to be pretending that they said what I said about Covid.

Steve, there are a few other things. With Covid, while I appreciate your sense of adventure, Covid is very real, and while it probably would not kill you, it can hurt you and possibly permanently. Thing about people with Covid is, and I know this may surprise you, but they actually look sick. You have a girl that is coughing, running a fever, bloodshot eyes, then stay away. Somehow this bullshit has been spread that people with Covid may not know they have it and can give it to you. That is just so rare as to almost not be true. You do not have to get into any of the symptoms unless you want to. If the girl does not look sick, then have your fun. Worrying about an asymptomatic woman giving you Covid is like worrying about getting struck by lightning.

Also, if you could, tell me where you are staying and if they have an open gym. I am probably going to be staying at the Marriott and I am going to call them and see if the gym there is open. I do not think the free standing gyms in Colombia are open (someone correct me if I am wrong), but I know the gym at the Marriott in Santa Marta is open, and I think the one in Medellin has an open gym as well. That is important to me, and the chicas I know are dying to get a chance to work out.
