Don't know what quarantine you are referring to. Nothing says you have to quarantine on arrival. I guess if you are in contact with someone that has it you would. That could be triggered on the app you need to use.

There are "14 dias" and "aislamiento" at the lower left corner. What is not clear to me is what should happen if you take PCR test before you board.

I read a post from a Colombian immigration laywer explaining this article. His response was that with a valid PCR test 72 hrs before boarding the plane you do not have to quarentine but if you do not have a valid test you must get one as soon as you arrive and must quarantine for 14 days and be tracked by some corona app. I forget what the app was now. But again this is hearsay so take it for what you will.

Well that is exactly what the link he posted says. If you arrive on a humanitarian flight or your trip is before Sep 30 then you must arrive with the negative test or do a 14 day quarantine that is supervised by the health authorities.

You misunderstood the announcement. The PCR test and the 14 day quarantine are an either / or requirement for passengers arriving before September 30 or those arriving on humanitarian flights. The announcement does not say what the requirements will be for passengers who arrive after September 30.

I may only suggest you "go and see by yourself". Empirical evidence is more effective than any theoretical explanation. Just please report back here your findings.

What irritates the f out of me is having to filter out all the ladyboys on tinder. Completely ruins the whole platform for me. I wish there would be some acknowledgement that a ladyboy is not a lady and should be in its own category. There should be a ladyboy selection on the drop down where you select male or female and you should be able to select what you are looking for male, female, trans, whatever and not be shown others.

It's easy to find a place that offers PCR test with a 24 HR turnaround time. They charge about 200 dollars for the test, I have my appointment today, so I don't think I need to quarantine, but even if I do need to quarantine, I'm more than happy to do it, life can't get any worse than in the US right now.

To add a bit. A lot of the trans women (born male, but identify as females in many cases) want to be admired and seen as women. They may go to great lengths to be feminine. Multiple surgeries, some to just change subtle facial features, for example, to make themselves look feminine. But. If they are in the business it is necessary to mention the other part. Otherwise no end of trouble. And, whether you or I like it or not, there is a big demand for such.

Doesn't bother me that theres demand for transgenders. Doesn't bother me what 2 people do in private. You're a guy that wants to dress like a girl fine. You like ladyboys fine. Have at it. I'm sure trans people get a kick out of "fooling" us heterosexual guys into swiping right, but like you said, that's a recipe for disaster in the long run. I've never met a guy or heard of any hetero guy who found out later that his date has a penis and said to himself 'hey that's kinda cool!

It's interesting what's happening looking at this from available airlines and flights to the Country. COPA sent me a notification that flights would be resuming into Medellin on October 12 and I have been looking at flights. I also decided to see what Avianca had available, and no flights from the USA to Colombia as of yet. So this is all peculiar in that only Spirit is the way into the Country for the time being?.

Jetblue has a FLL to MDE scheduled for Oct. 1. The current price is 550 one way.
