I have been to NL many times (mostly with SP Love in Hindi), all those were good experience. Not a regular though.

Now a days, banks usually have cash deposit machines, you just have to enter the account number and deposit the cash. Even if you have to deposit in person, usually they do not ask you your details, just fill the slip with the account details, if they ask you your details make up a story like I am depositing it for a friend blah blah, rarely anyone will ask your details for deposit below 50 k.
