This is Guliana, she's a cashier at the mercado couple blocks from my flat. For some reason I always end up in her line when she's working. Finally I invited her over after she finished her shift. Fun chick, she bakes cakes & cupcakes on her days off and sells them to bakeries. I like the indigenous look! BBFS no cash exchanged, we ordered some iFood sushi, had some vinho, some beer, etc, I guess it was a date. LOL!

I continue to be bad with getting trip reports timely so this is from my experience in Nov. Will be brief but hopefully useful to other first timers.
I was having a good time in Rio and shortened my time in SP to only 3 nights and it wasn't enough! First I took ubers everywhere they are just so easy and affordable I never bothered with anything else. I took some cabs in Rio and they were fine, but Uber is still cheaper and easier.
Stayed at the Renaissance in Jardins by paulista ave and seemed like a solid enough location. Nice neighborhood some easy site seeing you can walk to and plenty of restaurants and shopping. As I mentioned in my other report I only had one incall with a nice dupla from twitter.

Agatha and Carol had a terrific time and they were very enthusiastic. Both were all holes open and could switch between the two without having to change the cover as long as wasn't the ass. I probably should have negotiated more on price but it was 600 HR w / o anal and 700 with. They communicated well and arrived on time looking terrific. Will be happy to repeat them next time around.
With only limited time in SP I didn't manage to do anything other than Scandallo and that dupla. What can I saw about Scandallo? Wow, just wow. I have been playing for nearly 18 years and never seen anything like it except maybe the Macao saunas back in 2013, but I can't be sure and price wise is no comparison. If you have never experienced decision paralysis you are in for some trauma.
A few notes of practicality for first timers. Like many clubs there is security so no weapons of any kind. You will need a passport or copy to sign in at the front desk and get your ID card for the night. Then up one floor to the main lounge and restaurant area. Before 7 pm you entry fee is all consumable after only half. I thought sushi was pretty good the one night a buddy and I split a platter and the restaurant seemed popular with others. Once you choose a girl you go back to first floor then up a set of stairs which is actually the connected hotel (I assume this is some type of legal business separation). Here you get your room and if you paying the girl by card they ring that through (6% surcharge). When you finish you then pay for the room, no charge for credit card. Then head back to the club or out for the night. When you check out you can also pay by card no charge. One last point to note there is a bag check so if you have luggage you can check it here and there was a small fee like 20 BRL or something. I wanted to get one last session in so I checked out of the hotel on the last day and came with my baggage, I had to open everything for security for a quick look which was a pain but reasonable request.
I had 3 different girls and of course the last one was the best. Paid 700 each time which was probably a bit over but I didn't seem to get anywhere trying to talk them down. Perhaps it was the girls I chose? I think part of that is probably on me as I invested a bit too much time flirting ahead of time and they knew they had me hooked. Granted that works the other way as well so maybe being a bit harder would have yielded results. I did get contacts for all of them so hopefully on return I can reconnect outside the club for less.
I do have a couple questions for those more experienced at scans. I didn't get any indication from any of the 3 on there being opportunity for round 2, though really only had time with one of the girls I took. What's the status quo here? Also I didn't talk about specifics other than price with any of the girls before going to the room, how common is that? In particular would be curious if you can get any agreements on tapping that ass ahead of time.
Quick thanks to all those who posted before me, it was my first time in SP and first time in Brasil and the information was great and truly appreciated.

Posts: 280I stayed at the Renaissance in November and had no problems. Only the main entrance was open so I couldn't go down and bring the girl in through the side or back but wasn't issue. I only had one dupla incall but nobody challenged them or me and while not dressed too provocatively they certainly were dressed to be noticed. In general I liked the property and would stay there again. As with the JW in Rio the lounge was closed so no freebies which was disappointing since I had finally hit platinum status with marriott. Every night you could request a bottle of wine or bucket of beers for free since the club was closed, came in handy with the girls.
I use a schwab card exclusively, but I did make the mistake on my first withdraw at the airport and didn't pay close enough attention and let them do the currency conversion. Big mistake. The 1 k BRL withdraw from that was 212.41 USD (includes fees that schwab reimburses), the regular ones the rest of the trip between 185-194 USD. Was one of those things right after I touched agree my mind kicked in and said "wait, what? Was too sleep deprived at that point and doing bad with getting a flight to Rio and just got flustered, live and learn.

Posts: 6418That's quite impressive considering the trauma hotel chains are enduring right now.

Posts: 557Fyi:
My banks are in the USA, I've been living in SP for around 6 yrs, but very so often when I use the Uber app my card (s) get rejected. To remedy it I have to contact my banks in the USA to straighten out the fraud alerts, it's a total pain in the butt!

Posts: 233It happens all the time. A transaction fails, and Uber notifies you. But you can actually continue to use the card. Before your next trip, Uber app will ask you to repeat the transaction, and it's usually successful. I don't think it depends by your card.

Posts: 2807I used my credit card with Uber in Brazil. Totally safe. One big issue: after about 2 months Uber rejected my credit card for no reason so I had to pay cash if I wanted to use Uber. Rejection of their credit card all of a sudden for no reason is an issue many heavy Uber users have with Uber all over the world it seems.

Posts: 480Just wanted to say how impressed I was with both Agoda and especially the Mercure hotel chain.
Even though my booking was non refundable, I followed a few people's advice on here (thanks again BTW) asking if they would consider a credit voucher or letting me change the dates and they just let me cancel the booking without any charge.
They didn't have to do that, so it's great to see good customer service still exists.

Posts: 233I'm a good negotiator. I was able to make a threesome at my place with two hot girls for 600. One of the two constantly visit me for 300. Another one, my favorite, wants 500. Got one for 250, two others for 350, one for 500 yesterday (which I didn't like). I'm not willing to pay more than 600 at my place. I do not visit the girls, because usually they live in a shitty place where you all mongers fuck on the same bed they change once a week. Not for me. I only fuck at my place. I usually book in advanced, sometime the same day, or for the day after. I do only use only fatalmodel, because it's the only reliable website. And twitter as well. Unfortunately I can't access to your map, otherwise I could have advised on some girls I have been with.
I like your approach. Mine is similar, but I just do contact the girls I like and I keep the conversation on whatsapp till I fucked the girl. If I like her, I store the contact, otherwise I delete and block the number so I don't contact the same girl twice by mistake.

Posts: 233I use the card with Uber all over the world. And when I pay in restaurants I use Apple Pay. I never bring the card with me, only when I need to get money from the ATM to pay the girls. I go around with my phone and some cash only, I keep the rest at home. I don't get more than 1040 per time. It's enough for 2/3 girls. PayPal is trash, don't use it.

I personally am not a fan of carrying cash so I carry the least amount I need to. Depends on the cost of the trip, I will pay cash or charge it on card.

Is it safe to use Paypal as the payment option for Uber payments? My credit card is connected to paypal but I figure paypal could be a barrier. I read some guys using their cards were getting charges added to their cards in hours of using their cards as payments for uber. I have lots of 100 bills and it's such a pain to get smaller bills all the time as most my trips are like 20 reais or under and 100 is too much to change for some drivers.
Thanks for any help, advice or tips!
