FFL is Spirit's headquarters and is a small airport. But still you should rush to your gate because many times the gates change and you have to go to the other end of the airport.

FYI. Spirit is notorious for customers missing flights. They leave a very small window for transfers. If your plane is delayed by 10 minutes (weather or more likely someone getting kicked off for not wearing a mask), you have to cross a medium to large sized airport, or you mistakenly go to the wrong end of the airport you can miss a flight.

You should be fine since it is a small airport.

It's actually a larger airport than I thought with different terminals as I had a Jetblue flight from Medellin connecting in FLL and then on to LAX in November.

Albeit is was a connecting flight going in the opposite direction, it was a total gaggle with confusion at Customs and long waits, thankfully I have Global Entry, and upon arriving had to go to another terminal which took about fifteen minutes.

Hopefully everything will work out for the poster with the one hour layover, however Spirit is not going to tell a customer they sold a ticket too not to worry about missing a connection, IE; no problem, no worries, but what you have pointed out about them being not on time is a well known fact, especially coming from some where in the USA versus from Medellin, hence I would be very reluctant with a one hour layover with Spirit, but hopefully for this poster his layover will be sufficient.

Back in heaven but with a fucking gong show of an apartment. They fucking place didn't even have pillows! They rushed to get it "ready" and the owner supposedly didn't know it's condition. I slept 3 hours since Sunday, going into last night, thanks to Spirit Airlines. All I wanted was a decent night sleep, and I arrived to no pillows, the loudest A / see in the world, no blinds / drapes, a mattress that feels like the floor, and a blanket that feels like a rug. Good times. Jacuzzi was almost overflowing with water and had shit all over the seats / bottom.

I sent a huge list of requests and said if it can't be done by tomorrow (toque de queda) to return my money and I'll find another place. Not a good start.

So out of curiousity, where was this apartment located, how big, and how much a month. Was this thru an agency or something thru Airbnb.

I remember once renting an apartment near the intersection of Calle 10 and Avendia Poblado right behind the Carulla that had an excellent view and after doing the walk thru discovered stained sheets in the Master Bedroom and no Cable service to the flat screen in the living room. And I complained and they made everything right, yet lesson learned you have to check everything even the plumbing to verify there's hot water before accepting occupancy, yet the owners can be assholes, and not do stuff, and then you have to fight them to get your money back, hopefully they will take care of everything for you without any problems.

As a Cartagena first timer, I found it amazing. Thinking about checking out Medellin next week. Dolce Vita was cool, but Delirium was amazing. Spent NYE in the 2nd floor of Delirium. Everyone will start between 300 k and 400 k and most will settle for 200 k. Only one bad experience w a girl that took me too long to get out of my place. I am def considering not bring anyone over anymore and get a by the hour spot to go to.

Any Medellin tips would be appreciated.

Those are my favorite type of flights. Short layovers. It only takes them 15 minutes or less to get your bags from one plane to the next. FLL is a small airport. 10 minutes tops once you get off the plane and walk to your next boarding station. You should be fine.
