Lets atleast be objective here. JB is one of the posters who gives out helpful advise. I don't always agree with everything he says, but he does articulate his point of view quite openly and is generally good with sharing his knowledge. Has he made mistakes, sure. I also think he has been open about them.
I think anyone claiming they went to MDE for any length of time and everything went perfectly is probably lying. We each monger with differing levels of risk tolerance and experimentation. I have long said this board is better when we share not just our positive but also our negative experiences as that's how you can be more knowlegable and avoid scams, criminals, tough situations, tough spaces etc.

Covid has made liars out of many people as it was an evolving and hitherto unknown pandemic. Its is absolutely justifiable to make rules based on the info available at the time and change according to the circumstances and evidence. That what the medial community has done.
To me it is utterly foolish that they don't allow people to travel with vaccine passports. Its incomprehensible that a couple of months into this vaccine roll out they don't have data about the true carrier status of individuals who have been vaccinated. They just don't have the will or desire to do that right now. So Elvis makes many valid points but he makes them in a manner that is difficult to agree with him, as this disease has much qualifiers and nuance. Politically, I think both sides have messed up, and as with most things we are such a polarized country that it makes sensible policy hard to achieve. IMHO 1) if you got vaccinated you can travel freely 2) everyone mask distance and sanitize out in public 3) all but large congregations over 10 disallowed
4) vaccinate as quickly as possible 5) ignore the variants for now and work on an update for 2021 6) let the economy open up fully within those parameters otherwise 6) focus the deficit spending on those that really need it.

So many opportunities missed.

Anyway, this is a mongering board, and covid should not be the topic. Unless it has to do with how you can get it while banging the chica. Its probably a higher risk than the usual STDs right now.

I wasn't wrong on the travel ban. I never said the travel ban would stop the spread. I said that the travel ban would allow Colombia to better allocate their resources, so they didn't have to waste manpower with monitoring, quarantining and tracking foreign visitors.

I scrolled down past the ones in this thread, because anyone can easily see those. The second one is from the second page and the third is from the third page. With the second and third, I just cropped from the first post on the page. Obviously the full page wouldn't fit on one picture, but it seems to be representative of the types of posts you make.

Of course it wouldn't be fair to just show one side of the story. So the other 3 photos are basically the same thing, except from my posting history. The pics may not be in the order stated, but I think everyone can figure it out.
