No you absolutely did not make it known that it was a reference pic, you just plagairzed another pic as if it was your own. Now your justifying stealing another person's content because I saw a $10 hooker on the street that I recognised from another BMs post, that's using another person's picture, my god are you high or something? I don't know why some guy I have never seen post here in the Medellin discussion before (dude may have-I am just saying I never remembered his posts) now feels the need to attack and accuse and pick a fight with one of the board members who contributes more good info here than anyone. It seems strange why the need to be the hero / cop / defender of justice of ISG? Stating you don't come here for arguments after starting one, then continuing and escalating one isn't helping or rational either. All this pettiness for something pretty innocuous that has been explained away-and was fairly easy to understand and didn't seem to have any bad intent behind it. Maybe a simple: could all of us be more mindful to credit photos appropriately and try to be more accurate with our details would have been more appropriate--not that the accused act mattered AT ALL in the big picture.

I thought the pic of the sexy dark skinned girl with green hair was probably her advertising photo that PN used as well or a photo she has sent out to multiple men. If it was a picture that 1 member took, and then another used: I think the person who originally took the photo should be the one to complain-and since that person didn't- then why is someone else chiming in? I mean if the dude who took the photo that someone else used (if that's what happened) wasnt bothered enough to post about it in public: why is anyone else? I don't know why another member feels the need to sustain an aggressive attack and turn a nothing burger into silly drama-that isn't needed, isn't helping, and doesn't even need to be a concern.

The important thing: black chick with green hair in the photo in question looks fine as hell in that photo--I'd like to encourage more pics of her to be shown here--and contact info sent to me in private if you guys have chicas looking like that for me LOL (only half serious). That pic gets me hard. I can only imagine what a few hours with her could do for my psyche.

I have learned as I get older: sometimes, just let stuff go, handle it in private, or find another way to deal--this whole over the top with moral outrage argument just seems like silly season distraction that doesn't help anyone. And is rooted somewhere else- and has nothing to do with some strange perception of 'justice' having been breached.

PN please keep posting as you always have. I think you are a helpful contributor to those of us in and out of MDE. And hopefully more in than out as times roll on. I made it known that the girl with the green hair now has blue hair, the green hair pic was a reference pic, and I never said I took the pic of her with green hair, I took the pic of her with blue hair. If you are offended my my usage of the pic, I apologize, but clearly you used the pic of blackman to find the girl in the park botero. It was never intended to make it seem as I was utilizing other pics to make it seem like I saw her with green hair. I'm not interested in petty squabbles I'd rather spend my time banging ho's. Sometimes I find it a right pain taking pics resizing them and it doesn't always work, especially so when you've been on a bender for a few days. At very least as a common courtesy before plagiarizing someone's pics just ask or acknowledge they're another BM's. It's the folks that are out there in the trenches reporting and providing pics that make this board so valuable and this is not the way to do it.

While that may be the case in certain circumstances I took the photos myself on my own phone and sent them to no one not even the girl and tipped her for the privelage.

This is where things get misconstrued, names are called, unnecessary grammar and titles are thrown at others all because you took one of my posts out of hand. If you have an issue with me personally, then I could understand, but we have never met therefore I find it strange that you took from my post that I am weird, I copy what you posted (which was a simple photo), that I was lazy, what I contribute has zero value, that I rip off other BM's because you find it difficult to resize photos on your phone because you were having a bender. That I am a plagiarizer and that I am not in the trenches, simply because you took the photo with your own phone and you tipped her for the photo's.

I have sat in Parque Botero for months not just days or hours, I have walked all over Centro from one end to the other, I have posted events and gave warnings to others about Centro and the robbing of foreigners and the gangs of Parque Botero that target foreigners, but none of that has value. Clearly you have a personal issue with me, my posts, and you find what I post as worthless and of little value. Elvis, this is my observation, when you talk about matters related to government, sometimes you don't judge matter at its own merit, you judge from your ideology's point of view. I have an old friend whose into all the Covid denialism, anti-masking, etc. We stay off the subject, that and politics, but I see what he posts in FB. He linked some fringe study that compared a handful of Florida counties with mask mandates against others without, cherry picked of course, and the former had slightly higher Covid transmission rates. Then there's the triumphant punchline, "See there? Masks don't work!" LOL But of course the "study" is out of court before it begins because it doesn't measure compliance. I live in a Metropolitan area, large FL county, and there's a mask mandate which from day one has been a joke. The mayor said upfront that there would be no enforcement. The bars here have been packed since last May, especially the strip clubs and masks are virtually non-existent. The same goes for restaurants, and especially convenience stores where even the employees often aren't masked. You can bet that masks are cast aside for house parties. It should come as no surprise when we have a higher infection rate than some rural solid red counties with no mask mandates. But it's been demonstrated in a number of laboratory studies how masks, and even layered homemade ones, substantially hinder the spread of infectious droplets. That's the end of the argument for anyone who is even remotely interested in being honest with themselves.

As to Medellin, I stay in contact with a few strippers that work in the Centro clubs. Well, the girls aren't wearing masks, nor are the customers to any degree. This has been confirmed on a number of occasions since last fall.

If one wants to see the results of compliance then look at Thailand, Taiwan, New Zealand, among others.

Another excellent example would be Australia. That have it practically stamped out, are not fucking around. No deaths since October!

He says that the travel ban was justified because Colombia did not want to devote needed resources to chase around foreigners. You know how many people had Corona in Colombia when they announced the travel ban? 75. Now there has been as many as 21,000 cases in one day. Clearly, all the travel ban did was rob Colombia of desperately needed foreign capital and did not do spit to reduce the disease in the country.

If you did not want to agree with me and say Colombia listened to the medical advisers and "scientists" and implemented the travel ban and was wrong but succumbed to political pressure then fine. Covid has made liars out of many people as it was an evolving and hitherto unknown pandemic. Its is absolutely justifiable to make rules based on the info available at the time and change according to the circumstances and evidence. That what the medial community has done.
To me it is utterly foolish that they don't allow people to travel with vaccine passports. So Elvis makes many valid points but he makes them in a manner that is difficult to agree with him, as this disease has much qualifiers and nuance.

I don't always agree with everything he says, but he does articulate his point of view quite openly and is generally good with sharing his knowledge. Has he made mistakes, sure. I also think he has been open about them.
I think anyone claiming they went to MDE for any length of time and everything went perfectly is probably lying. We each monger with differing levels of risk tolerance and experimentation. I have long said this board is better when we share not just our positive but also our negative experiences as that's how you can be more knowlegable and avoid scams, criminals, tough situations, tough spaces etc.

They just don't have the will or desire to do that right now. Politically, I think both sides have messed up, and as with most things we are such a polarized country that it makes sensible policy hard to achieve. IMHO 1) if you got vaccinated you can travel freely 2) everyone mask distance and sanitize out in public 3) all but large congregations over 10 disallowed
4) vaccinate as quickly as possible 5) ignore the variants for now and work on an update for 2021 6) let the economy open up fully within those parameters otherwise 6) focus the deficit spending on those that really need it.

So many opportunities missed.
