I had a discussion with my gringo buddy this morning about this topic and he is finally coming around to the truths about life and culture and women here in Medellin.

So how to enjoy life here in Medellin? It is simple just follow these few basic fundamentals:

1. Never ever take any woman serious, period and end of discussion.

2. They are what they are, what their ingrained culture has placed into their DNA. You can not change them.

3. A barrio xxxxx, and my gawd we all love them, can never ever go outside her social economic status, so don't try, it will never work.

4. They all fuck around, they call them their gay amigos or primos or just a old school friend but they have and will return to their old fuck buddies, even the ladrones from the barrio because water seeks it's own level.

5. Some are better at lying than others but they are all very good at it. This is the way they were raised, the drama, the excitement of getting drunk and smoking some dope then allowing the corner boys in their barrio to fuck them raw and hard, so don't never ever think that these are sweet and caring little darlings.

Like the expression says the only honest woman is a prostitute and I am at the complete understanding, after so many years here in Colombia, that the only women that I respect are the prostitutes, I love them and their honesty.

And to all you sugar daddy's out there, I have tried talking some sense for over 2 fricken years now and as recently as yesterday, with my good buddy from the States. He comes once every 5 months to Medellin and he has 2 sugar babies, one from Manrique the other from Santo Domingo and he send 3 to 4 million a month to each one. Once again, the problem is that some guys look at pro as meaning professional. This means all a chick is doing for a living is fucking guys for money. They are seeing non-pro as being short for non-professional and meaning she only fucks guys for money every blue moon. She may be a student or have a normal job. Sometimes guys using the words this way will add civilian to mean a normal chick that does not take money for sex at all. Somehow they also add in semi-pro to mean she fucks for money sometimes, which seems to be the same as their usage of non-pro.

Those have never been my definintions. I have always seen pro as being short for prostitute or someone that exchanges money for sex, no matter how often they do it. I have always considered non-pro to mean non-prostitute, or a chick that does not take money for sex; the same as your definition.

Maybe you never had this experience, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has. You go to a bar, drink, dance and have a good time. You meet a girl. She goes home with you, you have sex. In the morning she gets up and goes home. Other than buying a couple of drinks, no money exchanged, no plans for her to move in with you, no months of support. Just a simple night of fucking, because you both felt like fucking. That's a non-pro. She's not looking for the guy with the big gold chain, or the nicest car. I was standing against the yellow wall on the corner when you finish the walkway and he walked up to the chica standing next to me who mustve been 19 at most and he started spitting some serious game in good spanish with a heavy gringo accent hahah. He was wearing hiking / trekking shoes and a hikers backpack and some like hiker cargo pants. He gave no fucks hahahha. The entire street was looking at him as he bought the 5 ft chica a coke inside. On Saturday when I was at ground zero at 3:30 in the afternoon he was standing within a few feet of the street sign at Calle 52 & Carrea 52, aka ground zero, and was holding court. Everyone within a hundred foot radius of him from the Premium Plaza Hotel to Botero Park and around were totally fixated on him, the guy's a total tourist attraction for the locals, and I can just imagine when he takes Chicas arriba, those poor Chicas probably get lot's of questions asked by their co-worker's about the green giant's physical characteristics. Also saw a good street fight today between two sacaleros in the street, two Chicas, and pure entertainment. Boy have I ever missed this place!

The tall slim guy is a nice guy from what I heard from some in his social circle. I only chatted him once and been near him 2 or 3 times when he was chatting with others. I feel for the guy.
