Spent waaaaay too many hours searching for a third, yesterday. A lot of "tomorrow" responses. After dinner, we got home and the power was out. Dangers abound everywhere in El Centro in the daytime, but much more so in the evening. It amazes me that guys would come into the Raudal area and have the DJ's play tunes for them. Colombia is not the DR where that could happen with no consequence. Again, total fucking idiots as you have pointed out, and they deserve what they had coming.

El Centro can be a goldmine if navigated properly, even by obvious foreigners, but it isn't for most.

So the answer to your question is, it will depend on who's working the front desk.

Additionally, your better off to carry a color copy of your Passport along with a photocopy of the date of entry into the Country. With this you should not be denied entry anywhere at a short time Hotel, and the PP is one of the few that does checks ID's. Also, others have reported that lots of places are requiring the Venezuelans have copies of their Passports to get into places but these are overnight Hotels. Next time ask the girls before you go with them whether they have a Cedula for the Colombians, or a Passport for the Venezuelans before you go with them. And if they don't, and they appear to be older and of legal age, ask them where to go, but I personally will not go to any of the short time hotels without hot water, towels, and are clean. I may have low standards, but am not going to use the use the 5 and 6 K scabie / bed bug infested rooms unless it's for a blowjob with only my dick sticking out of my pants, but I haven't done that in a while.

Also I advise against carrying your cell phone with you if it's an American cell phone. I hope this information helps.
