I just got off a Zoom Conference with some of my buddies in Centro. They said that ALL ISG members must keep their asses out of Centro or they will be coming for you. And there won't be any more of that blending in shit if they have anything to do with it. Maybe my family lives for danger? All of my friends and family (dad, cousin, youngest brother) that I have ever been with in downtown Medellin at all times of night have never gotten the creeps from it and thought someone was going to attack them. As has been said many times, it all depends on your style and the environments that you are used to as to whether you can handle the place. Of all the times that I have been to Medellin, only the last time I stayed in Laureles. The rest of the times I stayed right in Botero Park or a couple of blocks from it. Personally I do not see the big deal, but I will not advocate for it, nor will I condemn it. Different strokes for different folks.

There are several love motels in El Centro. Motel Eros is probably the biggest, just down the block from the Raudal corner. Hawaii Suites seems decent and there are several others.

I have mongered at one time or another in Gautemala City Zona 1, Comeaguela in Hondruras, parts of Lima that are not so great. I was younger, and not always so wise. All I am saying here is do not minimize the risks.

Can fly into Dusseldorf, Germany airport and hit up the FKK sauna clubs. Plenty of them go for 40-50 euros per 30 min, BBBJ included. 80%+ romanians.

I think BlackThought meant in general when things do open back up that flying into Dusseldorf and hitting the FKK sauna clubs were a better choice than having to fly into Barcelona and taking train then taxi to La Jonquera.

Currently as far as is still listed, a person has to present a negative PCR test taken 96 hours before boarding the flight, and you need to register on the the embassy website. Here is the link for that.

There was recently news stories about a court ruling saying that the test should no longer be required but I have yet to see this reflected on the embassy website or the Airlines websites for Avianca or LATAM as all these are still showing the requirement. LATAM has an interactive map you can click on to see each country's they fly current requirements.

I'll be going to Medellin in June. I want to go with the ladies in El Centro. Have been before and enjoyed the scene behind the church but was by myself and felt out of place. Where are the closest ST hotels in that area? I never pulled the trigger last trip down there but would like to hear the views of the guys who pull the girls there and where do you go with them that is the safest place. I hear about Premier plaza but have no idea where it is. All tips would be welcome.

She told me the comuna tour was 50 k for half an hour (30 minutes), which is a really fast tour for that area (and expensive). I paid 50 k for a guide for 3 hours. I don't know what her other rates are. She also suggested a ride to parque avri for 120, although I'm not sure about going alone with her for the first time to that area.

Any motel recommendations in Laureles? My hotel isn't very guest friendly so unless she would be a regular I wouldn't have her come to my place.

I haven't met her. My tour of Comuna 13 takes about 30 minutes or less. It's free, but she's got a much better ass. I've taken the drive to and from Parque Arvi. 120 k is not a bad deal, depending on how long you stay. However, a much better and cheaper way is to take the Metrocables. Go on a weekday morning and you'll probably be riding alone.

Suites 44 is convenient for a Laureles motel. Rooms are very basic but have air conditioning.

Gringos and Foreigners shouldn't go to the areas where they do not belong. If you are person at the wrong place and at the wrong time, then you are inviting yourself trouble. It does not matter how strong or big you are. The people are professional criminals at parque botero and its their day and night chore to rob and stab. Usually, the gang come from four directions and two people hold you from behind and few surround you, emptying out your pockets or even stab you if you resist. Please my fellow mongers, there is plenty of fish available in the ocean, but do not go fishing in sharks area.

I have a problem with that. I believe I belong wherever I want to be. Why pay to go to a foreign country and stay within a tiny part of one city? Especially when that area isn't much different from other upper class area of any other city? I can go to El Paso or Miami if I just want to listen to people speak Spanish.

I like Poblado, but I have no desire to spend all my time listening to disgruntled gringos complain because nobody speaks English. I'll hang out wherever feels right at the moment.
